There a lot of machinist jobs in treasure valley. My wife might have to relocate for her job which means then I will have to get a job.

For sure... lots of jobs here! Keep in mind, your first job here doesn't have to be your forever job. I've had friends move up here who went through 2 jobs in about a years time and job number 3 was just a perfect fit.
