What a journey. Of course nobody is mad at you for not sticking a GoPro to your forehead and enjoying the ride. Though that would have been quite a picture, you with a GoPro on your forehead vaulting - that would have made these Olympics true 20's Olympics! 😁

I would've loved that! There are eventers that clip gopros to their helmets, it's so cool and immersive to experience the courses from that perspective

Due to the influence of the coronavirus, the tournament was postponed for one year, and I think it was difficult due to the adjustment of conditions and the difficult environment. Simone's Bronze was so wonderful! I am so happy she was able to compete that one last time. I cried when you won your silver and cried when she was able to overcome her twisties. You both are great American champions!
All 6 are American treasures. All 6 medaled in one event or another. They faced down extraordinary circumstances, including (but not limited to) the 1-year postponement, no fans in the stands & Simone's case of the twisties. These 6 are as wonderful to me as the Magnificent 7 back in '96.

Yea that was cute. It is a Japanese thing. I have seen ground crews at the airport waving goodbye to the planes as they pull away from the gate. It was very sweet.

Never forget that Skinner only came second in this final because she didn’t work hard enough. She didn’t even make the final in the first place because two more hard working gymnasts made the final ahead of her. She got lucky. It wasn’t hard work.

I find my fave is always the tuna. To me it has the best texture and flavor! Funny how none of team USA likes sushi, I honestly thought more people were into it 😅

@@BaebyBear23 tuna is my fave too. I don't know how I would like the salmon not made into the roll - whether being inside the roll helps with texture issues. I love seared ahi tuna too.

Having watched you endure the workouts even when it was easy to tell on camera that you were in so much pain-- the painful treatments on top of it all. Hard work doesn't always work out, but hard work will always put you in a position to shine if that opportunity does arise. I watched the vault final for you and Andrade. I was sending you both the most positive vibes possible and I admire how you went up first, killed it and then held it together through everyone else's performances (I was having a heart attack every time someone went up, because I wanted the medal for you so badly).

Hi Mykayla. I came across your channel probably a few months ago and i have to say i have found your story incredibly inspiring. I have always had an interest in gymnastics especially during the Olympics so seeing behind the scenes has been so interesting. I am from the UK and although i was so happy the womens team won bronze i have to say i had been keeping my eye on the news articles all of last week for your name. When i saw you had got your chance at vault finals i was so happy and watched the coverage of it on bbc on sunday morning for me. I almost cried, you could see how much it meant to you and you fought for it so well. Congrats on the silver medal!

You need to try cooked sushi first and then slowly work your way up to the raw stuff. You also need to try it with soy or eel sauce. I am so proud of you, you did amazing!

I fully understand not wanting to film the entire time you're there and taking time to just be. I'm a film maker and I swear every vacation I have to remind myself that I need to just be in the moment and not seeing the world through the lense of a camera. My brother and I (brother's a filmmaker too) went to see the eclips and about 10 mintues before the eclipse he just left the camera and was like, I need to just experience this.
