rebecca andrade is just a joy to watch, her floor routines aren't just routines but PERFORMANCE. she just missed the medal and 3 years later won the Gold on floor's in Paris'24. girl is shining
Vanessa Ferrari's choreography covers such a large surface area of the floor, taking her corner to corner. It is reminiscent of figure skating routines. Absolutely beautiful artistry, performing and tumbling. My favourite floor routine of the Olympics.
Why can’t US gymnast have a good choreo tho?they can take all the gold medals but they’re still not fun to watch. at least other countries have a really entertaining choreo
I am sooo happy for Vanessa Ferrari. She finally got her first ever medal on floor after coming fourth at the last two Olympics. She hates the number four now number 2 is music to her ears. Congrats to Jade for her amazing routine a very well deserved gold. And Mai Murakami and Angelina Melnikova on their bronze medals.

Great presentation, the only part I didn't love were a few of the Vanessa Ferrari favoritism variety. I certainly don't blame them. I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from gushing over her too (so proud of her silver, well deserved for sure) but the female commentator saying if it were up to her she would give the gold to Ferrari was just a smidge disrespectful to Jade Carey. Mai's little clap after she got her medal was so cute! I just love her and I love that she and the Angelina gave each other their flowers, that was sweet. SO SO SO happy for Vanessa finally getting a medal after two 4th places. And miss Jade winning gold after that vault!
Despite all the challenges of this last year and the Olympics being delayed, this is the best floor final I’ve ever seen in terms of positive energy. Every athlete had such a great attitude.
Love the camaraderie between the gymnasts and the diversity of nations winning medals. Murakami Mai, Rebecca Andrade, and the Gardirova sisters are enjoyable to watch.
I love Mai Murakami and Vanessa Ferrari's floor music and choreography. Mai Murakami's movement matches the beat of the music too. Congratulations to all of the winners!
You can see how mature Vanessa is. How she feels and interprets the music. I think Jade is so talented and strong but still young and very into the American scheme of doing lots of tumbling and hard tricks. Interpretation is something most of the Americans are lacking. I would've liked to see Vanessa win gold this time! Beautiful routine.
Jade is 21, not that young in this sport actually. For example Aly was 18 in London and had a routine complete with both tumbling and a nice interpretation that showed her own style. I wish they had come up with something for Jade's routine to complement her tumbling.
@@janeyre14 yeah Aly is definitely my favourite! She has strong character and you can see that and us also more elegant. Simone too but not everytime in my opinion. I am not a huge fan of this year's team, I preferred the 2012-16 one.
@@askan300 Actually choreography and interpretation gets taken into account with the final score. Had Jade showed good interpretation & had a better choreographed routine, she could actually score as high as Simone could at her best. Tumbling isn't the only thing that matters.
@Themarvelouss No you're missing the point. Had gymnasts like Vanessa Ferrari, Mai Murakami, Jess Gadirova or Gelya Melnikova for example had the same type of choreography as Jade, they would never have gotten as close as within 3 tenths of Jade in the final. Jade won based on her difficult tumbling alone, had she not had the difficult tumbling she wouldn't have even medaled. But the reason why the gymnasts I listed got so close is because whilst they were behind Jade on difficulty, they had great choreography and interpretation. Choreography is just as important as difficulty, it's not part of a floor routine for no reason.
She did deserve the Gold medal. She stepped onto the floor with a humble approach and delivered a solid, stylish routine. She nailed ALL landings. She deserved It!
Well deserved Vanessa Ferrari! I was already mesmerized by her performance during the last Olympics. I am glad she got a medal, amazing gymnast, even though I was supporting Rebeca as well :)
Well Chuso competed first in 1992, at which time both Uzbekistan and Russia were all still a part of Soviet team, so you can understand why she feels that camaraderie, which is infact so cool to see. Not to mention Chuso is just one amazing human ❤️
Jade did the most extreme and hardest jumps and is therefore the deserved winner for me. She was floating through the air, as it were. There she made the difference, although she wasn't the most artistic, her acrobatics were just amazing!!!
The sport is artistic gymnastics, not acrobatics. Frankly, it was not the best routine if you take into consideration acrobatics, amplitude, form, choreography and virtuosity.
she was cringey all the time she was not tumbling. I mean, is it really that hard to show a little bit of grace? I thought no one could be worse than Tweedle in that respect but Jade proved that wrong. And before someone says something stupid, I was rooting for US to win, so dont try to go there. I am just saying that Jade is the least graceful gymnast on floor I've ever seen and that is something she could easily improve but she just doesnt care, which is wrong. And I'd rather have someone else winning. Someone who takes floor routine seriously in all its aspects. Biles for instance does awesome tumbling and also shows some grace on floor. Nothing too complicated or ballerina-like but... i dont know...at least she doesnt look like she is sleeping when she is not tumbling.
Holy freaking wow that was an amazing final! I was so stoked to see this on here because I saw pretty much none of the gymnastics on tv coverage. Those performances were so engaging and epic
I think this was my fav of the event finals even though floor isn’t my favorite. So happy for Mai and loved her routine!! Jade deserved the gold hands down and I love to see her turn her worst day into her best. 🤩
This might be my favorite podium of the entire Olympics because of how great of a story it all is. First we had a shared bronze medal which I think is really cool, you don't always have to seperate two medalists. Then we had Vanessa Ferrari FINALY getting her Olympic medal after finishing fourth in the last two Olympics. Lastly we had Jade Carey who in just 24 hours was able to bounce back from her failure in the Vault Final (which probably was the worst moment in her career) and win the gold medal.
Pra ela está ótimo, pra quem não era nada na ginástica internacional... O mundial vem aí em outubro, vai denovo com baile de favela pra ficar em quinto lugar denovo Kkkkkkkkkkk
To all the "experts" quoting Jade's dancing/artistry wasn't upto the mark, I agree, but she got deducted for it, at least 0.5, she'd not have got an 8.033 on execution had it been only based on her tumbling as her execution was phenomenal and very clean. It's not her fault other's can't do the more difficult passes, some people use dance elements to boost their difficulty as they can't do big skills, it's an individual choice and a balancing act, so please do not bring down Jade or any other gymnast for your half baked analysis. They work hard for it their entire lives and all of them rightfully deserved the medals they received.
Love Jade Carey's floor performance in this olympic final. So beautiful with good execution, good height on tumbling and so much confidence portrayed in her performance after disastrous final in vault. Keep moving forward jade!😊😊❤❤
I loved her performance, plus how warmly she greeted her competitors once everyone was through performing. Also see her wish Rebeca good luck at 34:10.
I think the commentators knew as soon as Jade finished her routine that she was going to win, because she did have the highest difficulty and it was perfect 😍
I'm just happy for Melnikova and Murakami that they got rid of that tiebreaker leaving one of them on the podium. I remember the bars final in Beijing. It is way better this way.

not saying she didnt work hard but how comes she doesnt give a ... about coreography? i mean... just showing a tiny little bit of grace on floor can't be that difficult. She looked dead all the time she wasn't tumbling. And dont get me wrong, I was rooting for US but there is a reason why there is music on floor routines and jade is not taking it seriously.
@@askan300 don't bother talkin' to this human, she has copy pasted same comment hating on Jade, they don't understand that routines are structured individually and not everyone is a dancer/natural at dance movements and they make up for it in tumbling but explaining this to this person is like telling a cow to research DNA.

Love both, Rebeca and Jade!
If it would be a pageant competition, Rebeca would be the Miss Congeniality, everybody loves her.
Ferrari’s performance though was absolutely stunning. I loved her choice of music, it was so majestic and her expression was so beatitude wow.
Her floor music was Goosebumps
Mukarami Mai was absolutely amazing, she's such a joy to watch and I'm absolutely glad she medalled👏🏾
Congratulations to all of the winners!
also the gadirova twins are ones to watch! exceptional talent and amazing potential
And they are so beautiful! oh my
You can see how mature Vanessa is.
I am not a huge fan of this year's team, I preferred the 2012-16 one.
you can't win the Olympics with dancing, you need difficulties, that's exactly what Jade does.
She deserved It!
i'm italian and i know how vanessa worked hard for her second place, but can we talk about Murakami Mai's coreography? She literally SLAYED that!
Well deserved Vanessa Ferrari! I was already mesmerized by her performance during the last Olympics. I am glad she got a medal, amazing gymnast, even though I was supporting Rebeca as well :)
Eu realmente acho que se não fosse aquele pé pra fora do tablado a Rebecca estaria no Pódio :(
Jade’s routine was amazing, I love how calm and confident she was 💙
Calm and confident? More like devoid of expression and personality.
@@gaelgarciabernal2434 you jelly bro?
She was boring and unexpressive
@@nightflyer3242 no, that's a fact.
Jade was so elegant. 100% deserved that gold medal and the jealous little kids in the comment thread should find a hobby.
All the gymnasts getting pictures together is so sweet.
Wow! Oksana Chusovitina with the ROC gymnasts in the stands after Listunova's routine. Love seeing her!
Well Chuso competed first in 1992, at which time both Uzbekistan and Russia were all still a part of Soviet team, so you can understand why she feels that camaraderie, which is infact so cool to see. Not to mention Chuso is just one amazing human ❤️
@@deepeshmathuria yes, I know all that. Hehe. And she's amazing.
Jade did the most extreme and hardest jumps and is therefore the deserved winner for me. She was floating through the air, as it were. There she made the difference, although she wasn't the most artistic, her acrobatics were just amazing!!!
Jade is the olympic champion with more difficult jumps of the history
The sport is artistic gymnastics, not acrobatics. Frankly, it was not the best routine if you take into consideration acrobatics, amplitude, form, choreography and virtuosity.
@@gaelgarciabernal2434 why hate, jealousy is so ugly.
American gymnastics focas on tumbles than art
she was cringey all the time she was not tumbling.
I love watching jade be there to congratulate all of them as they step off the floor. What a classy woman
of course! she was winning! Look at the vault event!
Jade is a very classy young lady and a tough competitor!
Gorgeous Rebeca!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 Baile de Favela is on ♥️🤜🏽🤛🏽
She's such a joy to watch.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
@lucia santos nesta competição do vídeo ela ficou em 5º, era a final do solo que foi após as duas medalhas - que foram no individual geral e no salto
I wanted Rebecca to win!
Jade Carey nailing those landings effortlessly!!♥️♥️
i really enjoyed these commentators , giving credit to all gymnasts with their good and bad points
REBECA ANDRADE, Orgulho do Brasil.
Orgullo de LatinAmerica también ♥️
Kkkkkkkkk... Baile de FAVELA... FALHOU!!
Kkkkkkkkkkk
🇧🇷❤
Vanessa was so amazing. her moves was so on point. and she's 30!!! wow 👏
I think the commentators knew as soon as Jade finished her routine that she was going to win, because she did have the highest difficulty and it was perfect 😍
Jessicas routine was very clean, when she adds a little more difficulty in a fourth pass it’ll be Olympic medal worthy for sure
I'm just happy for Melnikova and Murakami that they got rid of that tiebreaker leaving one of them on the podium. I remember the bars final in Beijing. It is way better this way.
FINALLY FERRARIII YOU DESERVE THIS!!
I was hoping for gold medal, but that’s ok

Jade is the most adorable athlete ever!! Sooo amazing! She could have let the bad experience bring her down, but instead, she got up and showed the world!
Proud of the two girls representing Team GB 🇬🇧
please continue posting the competitions, thank you so much
Thank you infinitely for uploading this 😭
Listunova will have her time to shine, I'm sure.
Totally. Ferrari after 4 Olympics.
I do really hope so. I love her style. She is absolutely unique.
Jade honestly hit one of the best DDLOs ever done in WAG.❤️ Well-deserved gold!❤️
Sisters from England deserve special comment. Positive, lovely behaved.
I DON'T BELIEVE THEY POSTED! 😍😍😍😍 I LOVEOOOO! POSTS OF ALL FINALS AND TEAMS ALSO PLEASE. I LOVE YOU FOR THAT
Hope you upload also the Women’s All-around finals.
I got really emotional watching Vanessa
Jade Carey deserves her gold medal so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ congrats!! I also love Rebecca Andrade too! ❤️❤️
Rebeca ❤
I have hope for the Gadirova twins in the future and I’m sure they will make our country proud! 🇬🇧 ❤️
They are also so sweet and happy all the time! Love them both!
This aged well!!!
The four medalists were amazing! Besides, they are such examples of determination! 🥰 Loved each routine as well.
Well deserved, girls! 👏🏼
Why is no one mentioning Mai’s Mustafina at 30:21? That’s incredibly difficult and I had no idea she’d been training it. Super impressive!
Because the form is bad
You mentioned it Brody Penn
I'm happy. In despite of whoever won, we had 7 finalists that managed to execute hard tumblings, and also showed their personalities and all the artistry parts that Code demands, on their own styles, ranging from 'Swan Lake' to 'Baile de Favela'. It means the sport is indeed in a good path.
Lol
I work early mornings, so I was getting ready while watching Jade's performance. Once she was done, I pumped my fist and cried while brushing my teeth.
This final is so amazing that literally 5 out of 8 competitors are so capable of getting gold
The sportsmanship between these gymnasts is beautiful, and gives me hope for the rest of the world. You didn't see that at the Olympics before, especially between America and Russia. But the level of respect they have for their fellow athletes makes my heart happy
Soooooooo much talent in this final! I am just so happy for the three medalists in particular, it was a long time coming for some of them and Jade was just brilliant.
Angelina is so beautiful and talented 😍
to me it is like they made Barbie out of her image
Should be cast on american horror story as young jessica lange

Jade Carey has been my favorite gymnast this quad along with Suni Lee. I honestly have no words to articulate just how happy I am for her; she worked so hard and persevered after what happened on vault and finally got the gold medal moment she so deserved. GO JADE!!
not saying she didnt work hard but how comes she doesnt give a ... about coreography? i mean... just showing a tiny little bit of grace on floor can't be that difficult. She looked dead all the time she wasn't tumbling. And dont get me wrong, I was rooting for US but there is a reason why there is music on floor routines and jade is not taking it seriously.
@@vanessaruiz4705 it is also not a dance competition! Without these difficulties in the jumps, you will not win a flower pot
@@askan300 don't bother talkin' to this human, she has copy pasted same comment hating on Jade, they don't understand that routines are structured individually and not everyone is a dancer/natural at dance movements and they make up for it in tumbling but explaining this to this person is like telling a cow to research DNA.
Vanessa Ferrari's floor exercise performance was really great too!
Vanessa Ferrari's performance was extraordinary! ❤️ She is the real medal gold winner! 🏅Jade was very good but this lady was out of this world! Beautiful! 💕
Finally a medal for Ferrari....i saw her at 4th in both rio n lodon!🎉
I was like why this girl is performing again,
Ok they are twins, lol
😂
SAME! It’s so cool to see twins competing against each other at the OLYMPICS!
I love Mai murakami she just looks so happy and grateful to be up there
Please stop bashing Jade!!!!!!
Like everyone, she has her strengths and limitations.
Let's be proud that she competed & dominated.
Her Moors is gorgeous 😍. She does it best
Who is bashing her, I can't find any comments except one that mentions her choreography but praises her ability, how is that bashing, she's a great gymnast.
No one is bashing her. They are just saying they wish the dance elements and choreo had a little more oomph to them. No one is disputing that she is probably one of the best tumblers in gymnastics history.
but that's not a limitation. It's not giving a f. Simply. She is not giving a f. sorry but that's how it is.
