The video is a "paste up" job over the studio album version. It shows her wearing a headband to conceal some major scars sustained in a serious automobile accident, just months before she perished in a plane crash.

1961 or 2021 we all still relate to the message of pain and risk in loving and relationships.. Can a person or love drive you crazy? (Or make you feel that way?). Patsy's song contained a lot of valid truth and emotions. She was my generation and died in a plane crash at the age of 30 at the height of her career.
I thought she was 33. 😟

My mother has always been a country girl, so I was raised on this stuff. 😅
Fun fact: This song was written by Willie Nelson. I've heard that Patsy was hesitant to cover it because it was a "man's song". Ironically, her version is still one of the greatest songs she ever did.
My personal favorite of hers is Got a Lotta Rhythm in my Soul. It's perhaps her most upbeat.
