Yes this seems very easy, but confusion comes with in such cases . I am confusing Where should we save the both files ( excel file including data table+ pivot and PPTX) it is so easy when you work in your local drive or e.g saving linked files under the same cloud folder. But when you need to share the fpptx file woth your client or yopur boss via email, what happens to the slides that linked to the excel table? what if i need tables first as linked but than what to do if i need to unlink excel tables fom the pptx slides and save with most recent data???

Hello! To my knowledge, Pivot Table Slicers can't be imbeded into PowerPoint and have them be interactive. Hoping Microsoft may make some enhancements someday as that would be a nice feature. Thanks for watching!
