You found what we call 'The Golden Middleway'. PowerPoints used to be dull and the onlinesites like Prezi took it to the next level but in our enthusiasm we got carried away and the animations got primary and stole the focus from the original message. You found back to the roots and shows a way where the animations still have the wau-factor but don't steal focus from the messages. Thank you so much!
00:46 Perfect presentation you are able to create :) 05:37 Invert Series color by Positive/Negative value, (Did you know that?) 07:35 PPT animation by Chart Series and Chart Category Very informative lecture! Thank you so much Leila❤️
Leila, this is amazing! The chunk of information broken down into three's- highlighting specifics. Your speech pattern was sync with the slide animation. Now, I get it, when you say about "keeping your audience with you" - and I was. lol, Total Brilliance!
You did it again! I teach EFL and one of my courses includes describing visual information. I had no idea it was possible to animate this way...... I've always created the charts manually if I wanted to animate like this. I knew I could link between Office Apps, but this is something else. Thanks so much Leila! I'm going to direct my students to your channel.
Awesome as usual. I've referred to you in the past as my secret weapon but I am now telling everyone about you. People like you, Oz, Chris Dutton and Mike Girvin are literally transforming careers and improving lives. I am grateful to all of you!
You are brilliant! I was just trying to do something like this yesterday (aside from the animation in PPT). These videos are so unbelievably useful, particularly for Microsoft laypeople. Thank you and keep them coming!
Thank you very much. Been looking for the series chart animation for quite some time. Will be using for my project work. Always love your videos. Appreciate it.
I have presented graphic illustrations of data in a former life but I don't do these types of presentations any more. Great to learn though. Don't know if I'm falling for the lesson or the teacher. @):-
YOU know , i have to say thank you a lot what i got from your channel which gives me big improvement on my excel skills and presentation skills ~ MY boss always surprise of what i 've done so quickly and so beautifully out of his expectation !!
You have helped me more than you could imagine. Thank you So much. Could you please show us how we could do a small inventory management with FIFO. Stock in and out in one database , and when you type the issue in a separate sheet you should get a FIFO based/ Expiry date based issue ticket for an item. Kindly help
Oh my, that was a good video. BTW, I’m on section 102 of your Udemy VBA course. I am learning sooo much. Best computer course I have ever taken. Thanks, Mark
great explanation but so complicated, I think I'm not there yet, I'm gonna save it and will come back when ready, otherwise it is very well explained. Thankyou
Hi Leila.. thanks for the tips on linking EXCEL charting to animations in PP. Your techniques of controlling information flow and attention of the audience during a presentation are enlightening. Most of us just get up there and throw down the data and analysis. You show how subtle manipulations of the approach can engage and entertain the audience while delivering the message. Excellent! Thumbs up!!
Great video. I 100% agree. Thanks Leila Everything in a presentation should be focused on the Aim of the presentation and reinforce the message. Animations, transitions, colours, style and method of the presentation and even the presenter, should all be considered a part of the communication of information...for the specific purpose of inspiring and ACTION on the part of the target audience. Unfortunately this is rarely the case and as a result many hours of otherwise productive time is wasted...
