Was in charge of a brand in my previous job and wow, I unconsciously applied most of these! I remember those days where behind that one slide of simple, pretty, insightful slide, are hours of data tweaking and PPT editing 😂 1 hour just to change graph size and color, anyone??

Hey Jeff, First of all: Great video ❤ as always... There were some tips that I often use like Colors and consistent formatting, to which your explanation was great. I would love to have a video on how to make slides, but more than that I have something in my mind which I have researched but didn't find the proper answer to. Also, I think you can do a great job in explaining that thing. I think documenting what you are doing is a great way of learning. One of the reasons is that you can always go back to see what you have done so far and decide what is the next step. I think it benefits the working professionals as well as students. . But, there must be some proper way of doing so. I have been doing so in my projects and while I am learning something new, but I believe there is a lot which I must be missing out on and you can help me with.
Building creative slides from scratch is so hard sometimes... For me a template is so important than but it would be so interesting to see how to make a good looking slide from scratch🔥
One caution I would suggest when using color, some people are either color blind, or partially color blind so colors just add confusion for them, not clarity.

I liked the video in general. One question: are pie charts really that bad though? Aren't there some situations where they might be useful? For example, I think they represent percentage shares really well.
So I actually asked my colleagues in Strategy & Ops team about this and they said it's fine to use Pie Charts it's just not encouraged since it's just not easy for us to differentiate the sizes of individual slices within the pie chart
we have a KPI set to have a delivery target of 95% on a weekly basis. We hit the target every week but is there a way to showcase it in an interesting way rather than saying KPI met? coz we are not doing any improvement in terms of delivery and even if we do it will be hardly 1-2%? which chart / presentation of data to use for this?
The map example could be very misleading EVEN WITH the accompanying text 'for illustrative purpose only'. I would not include something like that in a data presentation.

Also pie charts are actually good when showing how a product dominates (or dominated) in a market share. Just make a visually good design of it.

You can create the stickers yourself using shapes + text box :). Waterfall chart you can create from Excel or Google Sheets! 😁
