The invaded area was minimally defended presumably because Russian forces were fully stretched, with priority given to the diffuse offensive in the Donbas. Thus any redeployment of forces must mean sacrifices elsewhere and the laborious construction of logistical paths and resources. We are seeing the end of Russia’s Donbas offensive. Russia does not have reserves of trained manpower and supplies, a flexible military, or any General Patons. It will be a long time before it can stabilise the Kursk incursion!

It's a morale victory for Ukraine, it's creating more incentive for western nations to supply Ukraine and with more offensive capabilities at that. While it looks like the tide is shifting in Ukraine's favor, they are simultaneously losing numerous territory in the Donbas. Realistically they won't be able to hold onto Kursk, and the success of this operation will count on how much they can capitalize on this current press momentum and stir a narrative of this war in their favor. Frankly though, it's a war of attrition and has been, since Ukraine refused a surrender agreement in the first initial days. Ukraine with the continued support of the western nations may be able to supply a larger arsenal, considering the production capabilities of their suppliers, but they need to continue, to project a narrative in their favor, so that it looks like they have a fighting chance. Because in a war of attrition, Russia has them completely outnumbered in able bodied troops, and guns, planes, tanks and artillery are only effective if they have crews to run them. That's my analysis of the situation, of course there is much speculation here and I am making assumptions on the objectives and motivations of the involved participants but I have made these conjectures out of the deductive reasoning of the information I have been privy to. I asked why Russia is fighting Ukraine to meta and this is what i got..... The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is complex, with deep historical, political, and cultural roots. Here are some key factors: 1. Historical ties: Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union, and after its collapse, Russia felt a loss of influence and control. 2. Ethnic and linguistic divisions: Ukraine has both Ukrainian and Russian-speaking populations, leading to cultural and political differences. 3. Geopolitics: Ukraine's strategic location between Russia and Europe makes it important for trade, energy, and security. 4. NATO expansion: Russia opposes Ukraine's potential membership in NATO, seeing it as a threat to its national security. 5. Crimea annexation: Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, leading to international sanctions and tensions. 6. Eastern Ukraine conflict: Pro-Russian separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk regions received Russian support, leading to ongoing fighting. 7. Ukrainian nationalism: Ukraine's efforts to assert its independence and identity have been perceived as a threat by Russia. 8. Energy interests: Ukraine is a key transit country for Russian natural gas exports to Europe. 9. Political tensions: Political disagreements and power struggles between Ukraine and Russia have contributed to the conflict. These factors have culminated in the current conflict, with Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Understanding these complexities is crucial for finding a peaceful resolution.
Russia is openly challenging this international, legal infrastructure which Prof. Clarke mentioned when describing the use of chemicals on the battlefield. I asked why Russia is fighting Ukraine to meta and this is what i got.....
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is complex, with deep historical, political, and cultural roots. Here are some key factors:
Whatever it takes presumably includes withdrawing from Ukraine
Nonsense every day from this guy
Russia, the second best Army in Russia. Putler is a joke. 🤣😂
The cheer leader of WWIII is back. He still has no idea of what he's talking about.
Russia is openly challenging this international, legal infrastructure which Prof. Clarke mentioned when describing the use of chemicals on the battlefield.
Russia's resistance and defiance against any moral or ethical obligations will only be incentivized if they come out of this with any territorial gains whatsoever.
its either they dont have the troops n equipment to repel the incursion or they are not taking the bait
He changes his narrative every time he talks.
That's just a dot on the map. Hilarious.
😂russian decreasing own population, india next
It's already happening in India under different auspices. Educated Russians with moderate money fled to Europe and Thailand. Indians are seeking western graduate schools for degrees and future work visas to permanently immigrate.
Delusional much.
Russias population has been in decline for decades, why I’m surprised Putin did this
@@weirdo1060lol bcoz in india is study very expensive and not getting seats in university bcoz off over population

Not much then 🤣 2 years deep and they cnt beat their 3rd world next door neighbour 🙄🤦🏾♂️💀
2.5 years
So why isn't the help of 54 countries along with hundreds of billions of pounds not defeated russia? Didnt 38 countries also get totally humiliated in Afghanistan after 20 years not too long ago?
@@jamesgreen1116 The west took Afghanistan in just a couple of weeks. Replaced the government, built hospitals, schools, and roads while chasing away Islamic fanatics. The Afghan economy and population grew during this time. In 20 years of occupation the west lost 2,200 servicemen in Afghanistan. When the west finally left, thousands of Afghans were crying at the airport gates, they felt betrayed and abandoned. Turns out the people considered us the good guys all along.
Comparing this to what’s happening to the Russians in Ukraine is pure comedy.
@@thebigmonthat's what the west is treacherous.

More blyat mobiles, golf-carts and dirtbikes ? ^^
well, they can certainly try😂
Putin doesn't see the irony of wanting to remove an invading force
"Whatever it takes"? They already are and they are losing.
Prof. Clarke is also Batman's butler.
Michael Clarke is so smart. Really well informed
@@thetruth9210 but they have lost their stockpiles. They are using north Korean ballistic missiles and shahad from Iran. Yes, they still make their own missiles and clearly launch them as soon as they are made.
Prof. Clarke is not controversial enough for Sky. 😂😂
"Russia will do whatever it takes...". What a surprising headline. Did anyone expected the Kremlin would say: "ah, it's only a province... we still have so many other provinces".
