Anybody doing life safety electrical/ elevator work needs this this tool it paid 4 itself on my 8 story parking garage. Made the fire marital & inspector very happy. Made the t&b recalls/heat detectors simple/fast to test.. Prefer my heat box for PVC bending but will do the job !! Great addition to the tool box!
Will it heat up my coffee? 😂
Boss bought one once for a gate lift install and, was a little windy outside, took too long and wasn’t powerful enough to overcome a 5-10 mph wind. Inside with no breeze im sure its a pretty good tool. Just a little underpowered for my taste.
Great info. Love the package opener, better than needing the jaws of life to get them open
Thanks ! And yeah you almost need one for some packages
Was really thinking about this when I get a frozen coil to thaw it out curious of good it is
Unfortunately, it doesn’t lock; seemingly for safety reasons. I was a little disappointed in the heat gun when trying to use solder seal butt connectors; it doesn’t get hot enough, fast enough (I’m guessing because it already kills the battery faster than Milwaukee would like). However, it does a pretty good job on heat shrink. The accessories were a little loose on the nozzle, but easy enough to snug up. Maybe Milwaukee will figure this one out and improve it using the FUEL technology. I do like it enough that I now keep it in my Packout box next to my corded heat gun. Cheers!
The Klein 8 1/4in strippers have been my favorite especially for the small wire projects.
Thanks
Thanks for the video. I might have to get their corded heat gun until they improve the airflow on these. They get rated really poorly online.
I use my heat gun so often was thinking about getting another one for my my other truck
Yeah so far I love mine
Great tool. Did you figure out if the trigger locks ?
I did not !
I've been getting Milwaukee power tools. But... I'm looking at other options for a heat gun. I kinda want something that I can adjust the temperature on! Any suggestions?
Milwaukee fuel impact 90/100. Milwaukee heat gun 15/100
If it doesn't lock its probably for a reason. They don't want you to walk away and leave it on. Not sure I need a heat gun but hey I always have room for another tool so I'll get it anyway!! Great video.
Good point !
Thanks
No, they just dropped the ball on design and relied on being the first to market to sell it.. every heat gun on the planet has the ability to be run unattended!
My entire trailer and shop is red and black but they missed the mark on this and I'm forced to buy the yellow and black one cuz it locks in the run position, gets hotter than this one and has 2 heat settings! All of which should've been on this one when they released it!
I'm in the same boat with this one in waiting too long.
AvE style hell yeah!🤘🏻
Rock on!!
You are having a blast with that dang baby chainsaw
I am ! I love it
I opted for the corded but I always wanted to know runtime.
What would it be on a 5ah & an HO 3 or 6?
You'll love it long time ! Like an oriental message my dude!!!! Lol
Soo...4 or 5 mins? lol
@@maxb.6974 sounds about right, lol.
The Milwaukee heat gun is basically the bottom of the barrel. I like most of their other stuff.
Hows the battery consumption
It can run on high with. 9.0 for over an half hour straight and only lose two bars
@@JakeOfALL sweet, i have a couple 6.0, 8.0 and 12.0 so i should be fine then lol thanks man great content
Can you use this to bend pvc ?
Definitely
Thank you . I'm getting one . Awesome . Thank you .
you still need the spring to bend the conduit.
In regards to the wire strippers I have a pair I got from summit that are pretty good.
Cool, brand ? Model?
It doesn’t lock in.
I knew you would know !
Throw that Bosch in the trash and get the M12 Hatchet to open packages
Then I have to worry about losing whole limbs ! Lol
Lock it with a zip tie.
that would work !!!
I was thinking about adding a small piece of Velcro to mine to use.
@@sstdusty that’s a good idea
That’s how Ave dose it you literally rip off his box opener 🤣🤣🤣
The lap dance is so much better when the stripper is crying. Wait what?!? Does it come with the accessories? I ask while using a smartphone
Never lock a heat gun
true .. FIRE
This is the worst Milwaukee cordless tool ever made.
You're no AvE.. Lol
