A power grease gun is ESSENTIAL where I work-the VOA transmitter plant. There is always blower and pump bearings that need grease. Yes these pumps and blowers are in the transmitters and the ones in the building. Then there is the “motor pool”4 trucks, one car,2 utility vehicles and a John Deere tractor with its implements, brush hog, backhoe, and a grader blade that mounts on the back.

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Josh, how do you like your Ventrac? Been thinking about getting 1 for awhile now. Bad part is I don't know anyone local to me that has 1 to get an honest opinion on it and what all it does well and not so well? They're supposed to have a large number of attachments available to do many different tasks. I've been a subscriber and following you for a long time now and I know from following you that you are honest about things and that is hard to find in today's world. I have multiple farms that we've basically neglected a little due to being extremely busy with our other businesses and due to my physical disabilities and my father's had a heart attack and a brain stem stroke and is no longer able to do physical labor. You Sir, have inspired me to get back to farming and taking more time to properly care for our land! So, for that I thank you and salute you for sparking the flame inside this Good Ole Boy heart and the love I have for the land&lifestyle. I've been working on my own line of products for awhile now. I'm seriously thinking about selling my Motorsports business and opening a company making truly healthy dog foods and treats, etc. I know you're a very busy man. I would like to talk to you or ask you some questions about your chicken production and actual costs to do it properly like you've done. I'm also interested in buying some and animal parts for my dogs. I would greatly appreciate it more than you know. I'll leave my email information and if you would be so kind to give me your honest opinion I'd truly appreciate it. I can give you my contact info when/if you email me. I know most people don't want their contact info on public forums. Keep up the great work and I hope to hear from you. Email is:

How much time and thought goes into the frequency you mow the pastures? Is it strictly on the length of the grass and keeping it in that “youth” stage of growth? You don’t want it to seed out correct? I know that’s a lot of fuel to keep that mowed so I assume there is a certain amount of thought that goes into maximizing growth from the grass vs keeping fuel costs down.
