I'm amazed that that 'high speed' tractor's tires, especially the larger rear tires, didn't blow at those speeds.

@@halloschmitty Yes, but at the time, I was not talking about aircraft tires at all, and I thought that was very obvious!
Giving the diameter, I doubt it would be of any problem for them. The tires of a passenger car, being way smaller in diameter experience way higher acceleration related forces at the same speed, yet cars use to drive still way faster.

Creo que es un tractor de estos turísticos de los que llevan varios remolques de viajeros turísticos, aunque esta vez va vacio. Este tipo de tractores corren bastante.También hay tractores tipo JCB FASTRAC que corren mucho e incluso pueden ir por autopistas.
its a orivate person who owns the tractor. He built it, becouse there are tractor meet ups and they are too far away for him to drive with like 20-40 kph so he tuned his tractor with a cabin, new transmission, new tires and a truck axel. And it has even a legal registration. There is a Dokumentation on the german TV channel NDR and its Called „Trecker fahrer dürfen dass“ and the episode is called „rasender Hanomag“.
We need this in the Netherlands so we can go faster to The Hague to protest.

With a new axel from a truck, new tires and a new transmission it can get so fast. It is becouse there are fast running engines with high RPM's and slow running engines with low RPM's. This type of tractor has a fast running engine

Ich habe Mal gehört, dass Fahrzeuge welche schneller als 60kmh fahren, alle Räder gefedert sein müssen. Bei einem normalen Traktor ist die Hinterachse jedoch ungefedert. Liege ich da richtig.

I wonder: Modding the tractor to have the power to reach easily that speed is not a big problem.
But how the heck they managed to make it to ride in a stable and controlled way at such high speed?
When most even modern tractors I've seen become nearly impossible to control at barely 60km/h (jumping all around - when the only suspension are just the tires, there is not much damping).
How they managed to damp them, so prevent from that jumping all around? It definitely did not looked this machine would have such jumping tendency at all, but how, without any suspension (at least there was nothing like that visible)...
It's basically built like a tractor trailer truck. Not quite the same as a field tractor. 😃
It has a new Transmission and New Tires and a truck front axle the engine is complitly stock.
Tractors have a much lower power to weight ratio than a highway vehicle. Few tractors were built for high speeds. The Minneapolis-Moline UDLX was designed for high speeds, but at they are topped out at 45 MPH and at the time they were built, that was pretty much top speed on highways anyway. I never knew any tractor was capable of 80 MPH. It would have to have a conventional steering system. Hydrostatic power steering is typical on American tractors built from the early 1960s on. There is no linkage from the steering wheel to the steering mechanism, but it's hydraulic. It's great in the field, but handles poorly on the road. You would never keep a tractor on the road at highway speeds. Another feature tractors of the last 80+ years have is turning brakes. Instead of the brakes working together, each brake works separately to assist steering. Most tractors feature a lock where you lock both brake pedals together, a must for travelling high speeds (over 10MPH.) Oftentimes, especially when working your field in rounds, you steer in one direction, which therefore causes uneven brake wear. At 80 MPH, that could pose a problem.

That fast Hanomag is highly modified, still it is "only" about 100km/h. Everything from 1:20 has nothing to do with that one fast tractor.
Back in the days Hanomag built a wide range of roadgoing tractors for transportation purpose, some of them being rather fast and not intended for agriculture at all.
Hanomag and Lanz did build what they called 'Eilschlepper" for road transport purposes, these had lower reduction ratios and proper road tires front and rear, altough their top speed was around 60-65 kmh originaly, so this one had to be modified to get autobahn legal.
The original road tires for these are no longer made, so you have to adapt normal tractor tires, you could however completely remove the V pattern from these and cut a normal profile, the rubber is thick enough on the thread to do so, and it will enhance handling and comfort at those speeds.
Just fit a transmission that is geared for road use : long !
Conventional farming tractors have short transmissions , to have huge torque , not for speeding

The first one was on German tv.
If I recollect it right, there are only custom built gears in the genuine gearbox, truck tires in the front, custom built tires in the back and a slightly (!) modified Engine. The cabin is also self built. I'm not sure about the brakes, as it was on tv a longer time ago, but I think he said he didn't even have to upgrade them.
He had to upgrade the breaks to air pressure breaks like any big truck in europe has

He did upgrade the brakes. Engine itself isn't changed. Gears, brakes and rear tyres are custom made.
All about gear ratio. My tractor hauls ass in 4 hi. If i were to regear the rear end i could used 4 low and swtich to high like a semi just in 8 gears.

@@lametraserillos1 It is "reconfigured" and the owner did a few more things like adding stabilizers and changing tires etc.
Otherwise the tractor would not pass technical inspection and not get its operating permit in Germany.
Btw. the Hanomag´s engine is not tuned. Still the standard 110hp 6-cyl and slightly more than 10000 cc ...

Трактора модифицированы. Трактор с конвейера не предназначен для таких скоростей, т.к. у него коробка передач рассчитана под другие задачи... Предположу, что у некоторых тракторов двигатели совпадают с грузовиками (пример - МТЗ-1221 и МАЗ), так что думаю, что при модификации трансмиссии можно добиться такого результата...
