Yes because tires don't get stuck at all. They make them with tracks for a reason. Your GFather was a closed minded idiot. Everything has a purpose, everything has a job.
We farmed the same piece of ground for 30 years and found all the holes and springs the first year and got stuck once it twice. We left those spots lie ( did not till ) the next guy came in with big ass tractors and got stuck several times a year and repeated that every year for the next 10. When they went belly up the owner wanted us back. We said no because the ground was trashed and the sink holes worse.
The guy waving his arms think s he is totally responsible for the successful results and the guy standing behind him know s this and just thinking what a knob I have seen these people like this person all my working life best to ignore him and laugh at him when he tries to take the credit later in the pub
It's the same situation everywhere. The farmers compress the deeper loess layer with heavy machinery. When it rains heavily, the water cannot seep down into the groundwater. A mud pit forms. As soon as the tractor drives into it, it sinks into deep mud. Farmers are responding by buying ever larger tractors.

Does anyone know the style or model of the first 3 yellow articulating tractors? Everyone I see seems to be powerful af and go through most anything. I live in the UP of Michigan and have only seen 2, and lots of farms around.
I always Cringe when I see close recording near those farming tractors pulling each other with CABLES. I once saw something like this and the cable snapped, It hit so hard that he bent the metal on the cabin on the rear tractor and the window was smashed to pieces. Imagine one cable snapping and hitting the guy with the camera. Needless to say he will be in the Hospital for a long time if he is lucky, or maybe 2m under if not.
In Sweden I normally put about 1.5 atu as a compromise, not too hard or soft. Yes I agree fully with you because the wheels don't flex at all. When I was driving the the jeep they trained me to deflate the wheels even down to 0.7 or more giving better flotation on the mud....
@@thenorthernhandymanit is the New Holland 300 hp but it is over 10 years old and comes from Canada bought by the father of my girlfriend. Regarding the tyres I can't remember because now I'm back to Italy as very often I come back to Sweden to help her with the farming but lately she is hiring a farmer to do the heavy work with the big John Deere because I have much to do here! Ciao ciao 👋👋
Its amazing to see so many people pulling out tractors wrong... you have to pull up! Attach the tow chain to the highest point possible on the top link with the shortest amount possible to get you out.
They arent made for mud. The idiots that decided to drive them in the mud kinda deserved to get stuck though im sure they blamed the tracks because no tires have ever been stuck.
4:30 the guy waving his arm made all the difference.
Always enjoy the guys giving hand signals, as if the urgency of their gestures would help accomplish something.
P00m
Thats why we kept an old TD-24 dozer around it had a 50,000 lb winch on the back with 100 feet of 1 inch cable, no drama .
When your rim is spinning inside your track, that can't be good.
I think they had no choice
Рлмада
They are designed to do that but you’re right..
Missing a couple of teef prolly
Deere is notorious for that. I’ve never had that happen with our cat MT765
John Deere is really well represented in Belarusian mud farming
Incredible footage of tractors battling mud! It's amazing how they try to power through and the various strategies they use.
Good video
i love to see them come out i love it
Super 👍
In the hands of skilled farmers, agriculture machines become instruments of precision, conducting the symphony of a bountiful harvest.
Wow 😲
"If you ever bury a tractor with tracks instead of tires just leave it there and bury it" my grandfather lol

Nicely done
Last one was awesome
those are some powerful tractors
"Too wet to plow!"
That's what my maintenance foreman would always say when he didn't feel like doing a certain job on some days.
Clearly, sometimes it IS too wet to plow!
@@Bobrogers99❤
Why can't the tractors sink in the mud and need another tractor to pull them up?
Good
Nothing sinks like a Deere
🤣
Anybody else always look at the tread to see if the tires are the right way around?
Yes, I did.

*The guy waving his arms * The guys driving the tractors are saying, "What? Go fast? That way? Huh? I do not understand! "
2:00 Spinning that driver inside the track sure is effective. smdh Probably really good for the track itself.

Someone tell if i'm wrong, but wouldn't increase your chances to get your tractor un-stuck if you dis-connect the implement?
Isn't that what Lorena Bobbitt did ?
Yeah, but how would you get it out of the field?
You can not always do dat since if you are deeper on 1 side the linkage couldnt go any lower. (Sorry i am.not english)

It's kind of comforting to know they have douchebags in Russia too.

Im amazed by how high air pressure they seem to run in many of the machines. Tires don't flex at all and the mud sticks to the tread.

The moral of the story is don't operate a John Deere; apparently they are mud magnets.
The trick is to get out easily is to have an expert on the sidelines who can wave his arms like a windmill.🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was waiting for the last tractor to rip that straw walker Deere in half.
I think we're going to need a bigger tractor
