Lekok not really. Yes it would take a lot of money and time but interstellar colonization would be a lot more difficult. First we gotta find a sustainable planet, then send a highly trained group just to get there alive, then they gotta get things started which would also take a lot of time and resources, and then after that there would still probably have to be teams of highly trained people to go there first before any colonization of average civilians could take place. It would be just as long and even more difficult then fixing our planet. That doesn’t mean it can’t be done but it would take a lot of time and money.
