    I make body clip retainers on all my cars, except for Arrma's + few others that already come with the rubber retainers. I simply tie a piece of fishing line on the clip, then pass the fishing line through a small hole I make in the body. Finish by tying a couple of knots in the end of the line inside the body to stop the line pulling out. I now never loose body clips anymore.

      Great idea. My other hobby is fishing, so I have plenty lying around. I did put a link into the description for the rubber pull tab retainers.

    Hey! About the CVD issue, if you look in the manual and on teh parts number on the shocks you can see that there are 2 different lengths for front and read shocks and that the long ones are supposed to go on the front and the short ones on the back. Tho some people have received their truggys with long shocks both front and rear. But it seems that for most of them the easies fix is to swap the shock to their intended locations.

    • @hyperc5249
      @hyperc5249  Год назад +3

      Nice catch. Either way, I feel like it allows too much travel. I was jumping mine today with the spacers in and didn't have any problems. Very Odd they would have the shocks mixed up. Gen 1 usually have a few kinks in them. Mine is running like a champ now. Thanks for the info.

    I have the 14301 and H16PL(their new buggy) and the wing has same issue where you need washers on those tiny screws, easy fix though. No wheelie bar came with it which seems crazy but they did switch to the velcro battery tray which made it easy to run a Zeee 3s 2200. Seems like they really listen to feedback while keeping the pricing fair.

    • @hyperc5249
      @hyperc5249  Год назад +1

      Absolutely. So every esc and battery have different connections. The MJX has deans "T" style connections. You also have to look at the rating the ESC and motor can handle. 2S 3S ect. The S stands for cells. A 1 cell has 1 battery cell 2 has 2 cells. If you put to large of a battery on, it will burn up the electronics. This rig is rated up to 3S. Being new to the hobby, I would go with 2S to start. Lipo batteries can be VERY dangerous. I don't like the USB chargers. If lipo batteries are not properly charged and storage charge, they can and will catch fire. I recommend a hobby grade charge. Don't discharge a lipo to 0. 3.8 is the common storage charge. RUclips lipo batteries and become knowledgeable about them.

      Chargers come with different sets of cables that have the connectors on the end. Generally, the popular style connectors. Deans are very popular. I prefer Protek chargers. You can find decent ones on amazon. I'm not sure what your budget is. Don't buy the cheapest one you can find. Check the reviews and order away. A good lipo bag is also needed to store them in.

      @hyperc5249 I suppose. I bought it because of the drive-train as that is the only thing I wear out on my cars, after 20 years of daily nitro you know I'm careful lol, but did not expect such a weight on drive-train alone in such a small car.
      I am impressed by it. Just gave it a living room run, the radio SUCKS but the car is angry. I like it but it's going on a shelf.

      Yeah, the TX RX is just OK. But for this price, the rig is worth that much alone. The H14MK is awesome too. Super fun street basher.

      I do recommend getting a hobbie grade charge if you really like the hobby. Not storage charging your battery can be a safety issue.

      I have the H16BM that comes with the same charger. It's pretty junk but it works fine. A proper lipo charger is always a good investment though.
