    I have a 2015 2.4l and injector 4 is letting too much fuel into the engine when the engine is cold. When it warms up its fine. But is what i believe is causing misfires upon cold startup. Ill have to change them and see where it gets me. Thanks for the video!

    My car Engine Stalls at Lights , long stops, and stop signs sometimes , have you ever experienced something similar?

      Yep… your oil/ oil pressure is low. Mine did it going up any small incline. I changed my oil to a thicker oil and never had an issue since

    Hi I have a 2016 dodge dart limited and for some reason after I get a oil change when the life is around 30 % and I make a turn I get low oil pressure message than sometimes the car will just shut off and I have to wait to star it up again and when I step on the gas the oil heats up even when I got a fresh oil change and the car shakes alot

    i had p0420 for a while , i chased it to o2 sensor , replaced both of them and p0420 never came back

    • @truckscarsandcoffey3973

      I changed both, and did a lot of other things and could never get it to go away. So I said screw it and left it.

    P0420 = bad converter bank One

      I know. I did the basic repairs (O2 sensor replace) and even replaced the CAT but it never went away. So I am replacing everything combustion related. I.e fuel injectors, spark plugs, etc.

    Would this be the same process for the 2.0?

    • @truckscarsandcoffey3973
      @truckscarsandcoffey3973  2 года назад +1

      As far as I can tell, the 2.0 and 2.4 are pretty much similar engines and set ups. So I believe this process is the same or about the same for the 2.0. Work at your own discretion but it should be about the same.

    How’d you know to change them? Somethings make a light ticking sound on my 2.4 and I’m not sure what it is

      I've had a CEL for P0420 for a while. I replaced the O2 sensors, spark plugs and cat, but I didn't go away. So I had a shop run diagnostics and they said the fuel injectors MIGHT be clogged, causing the code. I changed them out, but the code never went away so I'm just living with it.

    Do you have to purge the fuel line before you start the process of changing the injectors ?

    • @truckscarsandcoffey3973
      @truckscarsandcoffey3973  2 года назад +1

      No, you don't have to purge them. When you disconnect the fuel rail, just a little bit of fuel comes out, like 1 or 2 teaspoons worth. Just have a rag or paper towel in place and it'll catch whatever comes out. There's is some inside the fuel rail as well when out get to a bench to change the injectors, so keep that in mind.

      Thank you so much just one more question. The reason why I want to change the fuel injectors because my car seems to stall when I try to accelerate. Should I first replace the fuel injectors and if it's not that replace the fuel pump?

      What was the tool you used right before you pulled out the fuel injectors?

      Thanks for noticing! I grabbed them from ModernPerformance. They are a great aftermarket store for the Dart. I have the CAI, I just haven't installed it yet.

      @@truckscarsandcoffey3973 they’re awesome man did you do a cat delete or did it come with a part on the bottom for it? Or did you have to buy a new cat altogether?
