That gravely is a beast, that should be like new now and run great.
Yep is one sweet rig. Hope everything is going well out on the road!
Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas prevents this type build up and gives extra power and smoothness. It is really Miracle and everyone that uses it just loves it.
Nah sounds like snake oil to me ;)
@@MowerMike it's very legit ... even used in my Harely and my Yamaha outboard. Smooths out everything, negates ethanol.
Simple Green does a good job at taking the carbon off pistons .
You will love my next video
Good video as always; do you check for piston "rock" in the cylinder while those heads were off? How much piston play do you consider too much play when you are checking/cleaning the piston(s)? Thanks.
No idea that is beyond my level of Engine know how, I would just slap new rings on them and see how it works as long as the pistons don’t look beat up or scuffed
anyone know what the Compression PSI should be on these FR691V's and do they have Compression Release on Both sides ? getting 50 PSI #1 and120 PSI #2.
It should be atleast 120psi. You have some issues if one is just 50psi. Atleast you know what side has the problem
Please tell me that you took that piece of shop towel out before you put the head back on.
Haha yes I am not that dumb
Can I soak the piston in Warm soapy water or Vinegar and baking soda mix?
Sure why not.
Where are you that you have full ethanol gas? E 85 is all you can get most places??? Ethonol burns cleaner than gasoline but also takes 30% more fuel to make the same power that build up is bad gas or oil build up that’s made it past the rings.
Is 10% ethanol here, is plenty to mess up small engine
@@MowerMike that’s not full ethanol like you kept saying in the video though?
No sound!
It only recorded to one side. Try both ear buds. Sorry about that
No problem.
