If we get another New Super Mario Bros. for Switch, I hope we get unique bosses like in DS.
The ones in Ds were pretty easy so it would be nice to have an boss rush mode where you can fight harder version, like in the True Arena in Kirby Games.

For me, the NSMB series has always been special purely due to the sheer amount of time I spent playing the games when I was younger. It really appealed to me not only because of its excellent level design, pleasing visuals, fun soundtrack and overall interesting concept, but also because it was perfect to veg out on. I know that Nintendo is moving into more high-thinking games with Odyssey and such, but I hope that there'll always be a place for classic 2D Mario in their hearts.

Train #4 because it's messed up priority. Sure, in an ideal world, I suppose it wouldn't be bad if every Nintendo game ever were ported to the Switch, but there are so many games that deserve a port to the Switch more than NSMBU.

I honestly love the series just cause its a breath of fresh air when one comes out, a nice fun adventure and a break from most 3d games
The Mario and Luigi vs mode in NSMB is so underrated. My cousin and I would get yelled at for how loud we laughed while playing that. Great memories!

is it just me or for NSMB Wii’s power up system (I think you know what I mean) is better than the NSMB U power up system
Flyce ok I’ll try in the Wii U game you could get one of each of the power ups and you didn’t have a limited amount of power ups in your inventory to collect, but in the Wii game instead you had slots for each power up and than you could collect probably up to 99 of all the power ups because of that I think it is better if that doesn’t really explain well idk what to say

While I also do love the New Super Mario Bros. series, I have to admit It's frustrating that Nintendo has badly oversaturated the NSMB franchise. The new powerups and powerup upgrades along with new characters and concepts are amazing, but... Can't they please switch themes and quit making each new game feel like a reskin of the last one?

This may be an unpopular opinion but I was extremely happy to see the Koopalings make a return. I always loved them in Mario World and Super Star Saga so I was excited seeing them in a modern game.
It's not them being in the game that's a problem. It's the fact that their fights have little to no strategy that makes them boring.

Something that's mind-blowing about the New Super Mario Bros series is that they sold the same game 5 times.

1. The Star Coins are actually well hidden
2. Getting a 1-Up at the top of the flag pole actually gives challenge. The newer games spoil you
3. Does anyone else think it's awesome to see Mario turn into a giant rainbow when he gets the Star power up instead of a rainbow decoration? Plus, he jumps like Sonic. Can't beat that.
4. Seeing every level you did and tapping letters to get sound clips on the end credits screen.
5. I'm sorry I have to agree with Nathaniel on this one. THE MEGA MUSHROOM MAKES YOU FEEL POWERFUL!!!!!!!!
6. Those screw platforms that make you flutter in the air
7. The final castle (besides the boss, ironically) is SO climactic.
8. I just love seeing a small insignificant Goomba turn into huge monstrosity at the World 4 castle. Maybe he ate a Mega Mushroom just before.
9. Watching Bowser burn into Dry Bowser at the World 1 castle.
10. The satisfaction of beating the game, spending every star coin, and buying every wallpaper. Those stars on my file were totally worth it

2. Using the Propeller Mushroom and being able to practically fly!
3. Ya gotta love how adorable the Toads look wearing the Penguin Suit.
4. Yoshi finally makes a comeback. And in 4 different colors. Wow.
5. This game caters to all types of Mario gamers. Like the Super Guide or being in a bubble to opt out of doing a certain part of a level.
6. Now I know a lot of people hate World 9-7 because of it's difficulty but you have to remember World 9 was meant to be for more experienced Mario players. I think it's pretty cool how challenging this level is compared to other levels.
7. Hey, wanna desperately play as Luigi? Well, just activate the Super Guide then immediately start playing. I mean technically your playing as Luigi.
8. It may suck only being able to play as Mario but if you happen to have an extra Wii Remote lying around, just pick the character you want to play as and put Mario in a bubble. That's what I do.
9. So many cool power ups!!! The Ice Flower, the Propeller Mushroom, the Penguin Suit, even the Spin Jump feels like a power up on it's own!
10. Does anyone else think it's satisfying to see Yoshi eat a Pokey whole once it's body turns to fruit?
