I love how thematic this detachment is. Blood angels are full of random acts of badassery of “normal” Astartes in the blood angels. Zephon from Echoes of Eternity is a great example. Not necessarily as legendary as Dante, but definitely an awesome character when he was just an intercessor.
Looks like it’s a mix of Sons and Angelic Host, not trumping either of them at melee prowess or movement shenanigans. Appears to be a middle ground of both, closing the distance more reliably and generally making melee attacks more reliable as well due to re-rolls. And then some movement stuff.
'Instant of Grace' is quite nice for Storytelling. If your selected 'normal' Marine survives and has some kind of an epic fight that way it would really make me think if i would like to get him a name and make him a nice little badass ^^ More badass then normal marines already are ^^
The Angelic Inheritors Detachment seems like a fantastic addition to the Blood Angels' options, providing some really dynamic and flavorful tools for melee-focused gameplay. The flexibility of choosing from the Legacy of the Angel abilities-especially the powerful "Their Appointed Hour" for charge rolls-makes it a tactical dream for aggressive players. Enhancements like Blazing Icon and Ordained Sacrifice feel particularly thematic, ensuring characters remain deadly and resilient. That said, the Detachment's value compared to the Liberator Assault Group is definitely something that will spark debate among players. It will be exciting to see how this performs in actual gameplay, especially with characters like Dante or the Sanguinor leading the charge. I wonder who's excited to see these new Blood Angels rules in action?
I think this detachment will be really spicy in conjunction with the gunline buffs that have happened. Lines of Heavy Intercessors w/ character buffs + constant fall back/shoot and RR H/W rolls of 1? I'm looking to trying these rules with my Fists (just need to not take Garadon/Lysander to make it legal).
This seems to be a detachment to use the stuff you normally don’t use. An off piste blood angels army as it were. A balanced list with lots of bosses Make my aggressors great again
As a BA player this detachment feels weird. The Detachment rule itself looks nice, except for Carmine Wrath(a SINGLE roll is bad but the ENTIRE roll would be better) which feels bad. Half the enhancements are cool, the other half are not. I need to play this to be sure but this Detachment doesnt seem all that great.
Kharne said y'all didn't need one. Actually, he screamed, "Blood for the blood god! Skulls for the skull throne!" Then, he charged in with a Gorechild, but it was interpreted as, "We don't need rules to do our job."
I may have misunderstood, but I would argue that spending the CP to make a model a character would grant the legacy ability to the entire unit.
It’s written in the stratagem that this is exactly what happens

Hellblasters with LT plus sustain hits one could be nasty as hell. Time to take them off the shelf

I think this will make an amazing shooty detachment.
I think the weakness there is not giving anything to vehicles, which are some of Marines best shooting units
"the more competitive option"
Vs
"It's a fun option"
Vs
"It's a narrative option"
This could be the only detachment my Successor chapter runs. “Primarily”. The other detachments are fun.
Seems perfect for Hero Mode 👀
Sustained 1 on a predator auto canon sounds pretty scarey. Or dropping in a full 6 plasma inceptors. Eracing a lot of teq units i feel like with this
DeathGuard for the win!! Praise Mortartian, Praise Nurgle!! Praise the DeathGuard!!
In Death, there is life!! (with 5's and 6's)

Don't forget if you take 0 BA units, you still get the +1 to wound on oath
Not gonna lie this is the perfect combined arms detachment for BA.
Nice 👌 It would be interesting to see this one vs Creations of Bile 🤔

Make my aggressors great again
Being able to use Miraculous Savior twice in a game seems... uh... good...
You can't. Its a once per game ability.
Yeah cause you know what Blood Angels needed? Their 4th detachment while the rest of them don’t get anything…this one is pretty cool I supppose 😩
Glad you understand our suffering, it’s hard sometimes being a BA player with so many choices available 😂
@ I just want some love for my precious White Scars!
How did you make this so fast 😮
Content creators get rules early so they can do these videos on time.

I think you misread. You re-roll every 1 on the hit and on the wound roll for character units, I.e. all units that have a character model in them.
@snorri8110 do they get the character keyword but their datasheet won't have the character keyword and that's the key.
BRO WHEN WILL WORLD EATERS GET THIERS😭😭
