Fr. Mike, you're so funny. I realized after watching this video, I need to stay awake and pray more for priests for God's protection and blessings to be upon them always. They have a tough fight to go through. We all do, but I imagine evil spirits will target priests even more than others.
Father you strike me as a genuinely good man. I will pray for your strength to always live out your faith because the Church desperately needs examples such as you to counteract the awful examples we see too much of in the news today. God bless you and thank you
Father Mike! Thank you for making this video. My 9 year old sons listened the whole way through.and smiled and laughed... THANK YOU for reaching my son 😊
Thank you Fr. Mike. You and me are not super-man. We hear God's Call and We say Yes, We follow Jesus as a Priest, No perfect but trust in Jesus who with us. God bless
Such a great priest with a lovely clean sense of humor. Fr Mike is such a great soul. God is blessing him with charismatic gifts. Praised be the good Lord Jesus for sending us blessed souls who help us along our journey.
Thank you Fr Mike. I follow Jesus and because I follow Jesus I follow Jesus within you. Thank you for ALL the work you do, not forgetting the great humour 🙂 You are a blessing!
You are a HOOT.....I'm 72 and was raised a Catholic, educated in Catholic schools and live my adult life as a Catholic. However, all the priest I have encountered have been stoic, reserved and, especially as a young person, unapproachable. Its so refreshing to find a priest that can make those around him feel so comfortable and approachable. Thank you
Father Mike do you get tired of hearing how terrific you are God has blessed you so much you're funny you're precious and your priest and a king and a prophet. God bless you I can't wait to see you tomorrow
Man, I am just sitting here thinking of the ripple effect of laughter and joy, ALONE, that you have on people around the world. And also sadly, how I once had a very similar silly side to myself that I kind of lost a little through life; I am much too uptight and serious at times. You are goals, to get back to that..
I hope you get your sense of humour and lightness of heart back. My husband passed away nearly ten years ago after suffering Parkinson's disease for sixteen years but people still remember him for his quick wit and quirky sense of humour. God bless.
@@jen9774 Oh my goodness, God bless you and your husband. I am so sorry you both had to endure that; what a gift it sounds like his humor was!! It takes an incredible person to laugh through so much pain. Sending love! Thank you for the sweet response.
Fr Mike,I live in a multi-religious community,my question is how should I balance respecting other religion people and sharing the gospel and Evangelisation(without hurting other people)?
Father Mike. I love these video's. These are all questions we all want to know but don't have the guts to ask a priest. Plus you are hilarious. Please do more of these videos. ❤ God Bless you
I've learned more from you about Catholicism than any where else. I was baptized as a Catholic but my parents went another way. I have friends that are Catholic and I have asked questions but they don't know. I've tried to read about the beliefs but could hardly keep awake. You make learning fun! Thank you for answering the questions that I didn't even know I had.
What a great way to answer common questions!! With a spice of humour, very very short and precise. You surely put a smile on whoever is watching. Thank you for your concern and time.
And i wish one day to see father Mike becomes our Holy Father. I love all of our spiritual leaders but at my local church there is another priest who is so much good like father Mike. I prefer his honest and knowledgeable service, he always make me almost want to cry learning form him and i pray for him to have a much larger audience. I always feel blessed to have loving people like you guys, it gives me personally the strength and confidence and feel so proud that Jesus has never left us.
love your videos and your special sense of humor - thank you for sharing your knowledge, your devotion and your insights! also love the fast speed talking!
Great sense of humor Fr. Mike! Yes, we, Catholics have a good sense of humor. It's true. I heard that some people try to sound different, so the priest doesn't recognize them. In my case, I go to a different church during confession time. Thank you. 😄😆🤣
Hi Father Mike. Thank you for making all of these videos. They have been a major part of my conversion last year to Catholicism and continue to play a large role in my education. Speaking of education, I was hoping you could expand more on the educational process of becoming a deacon. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for these videos! They help understand a religion I was born into and but didn’t know. With Gods grace, I’m loving it more and more. Thank you again! A question I do have is... what prayer do you say before the priest blesses the holy Eucharist? I find myself lost and mumbling at that point every Sunday. Hahaha
If you mean the prayer that the congregation says after the priest presents Jesus in the Eucharist and says, "Behold the Lamb of God, etc." then that prayer is "Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof. But only say the word, and my soul shall be healed." It's from the Centurion's Prayer in Luke 7:1-10
I've never been to confession, partly because I'm scared, partly because of my parents. My parents aren't as much into their faith as I am, and they think really different about certain subjects. Confession is one of them, my father says that it's not for him. I think I want to go, but I also have to find a priest that I trust and that comforts me. I'm just on a journey of faith and slowly step-by-step getting further into faith
Spending time in prayer & indulging in Church service, is the beginning of working as a priest. One should be willing from the heart ❤️ to devote a life to serve God’s house💒
Father mike I love you so much man!!! You fill my heart with joy and of course knowledge. I thank God for placing you in my life. Thank you for choosing to be our spiritual dad.
I love how well he's answering these questions like he's talking to a person who hasn't been in the faith or isn't in the faith for some time (probably because of the questions themselves that help with that) and how softly he tackles all these questions so as not to hurt the person or people who have asked them.

Hey can you do a video on what to do after confession and penance, like how to go about your life in a way that keeps you out of the confessional a bit longer how to pray what to change et cetera
Confession is the sacrament of healing and holiness, is the way to fill us with grace to feel free to come back any time we need it without be an obligation!
