My favourite part of the day is when I get to read through all of your lovely comments! Thank you to all of you for taking the time to listen and comment, it really does mean a lot to me. X
Ohhh, Eurielle, I just came back to listen to your song again after finally watching "The Hobbit - The Battle of the Five Armies" last night and the tears just keeps welling up....the movie was so sad and your song fits the mood like a glove! Thank you for this beautiful song. xoxo
As promised, here is my new Tolkien inspired video. A lot of you asked me to produce a song that would be appropriate for Thorin's funeral. I hope you enjoy... Eurielle
This is incredible, Eurielle! You have the voice and style for this type of music. It's perfectly fitting for Thorin's funeral and thank you for sharing your talent and work with us!
Thank you. Your songs are full of feeling and meaning for me. I feel everything in an experience before anything else. I am grateful for that you write and post your songs. They make me feel safe and among friends. Live well.

You`ve just broke our hearts over again. Aye, an elvish soprano with a song about dwarf...like there`s a day of peace between elves and dwarves with only grief lying between them. Thank you, Eurielle, for this song.
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard in my entire life. The voice, the emotion and the lyrics, it's all so perfect. I feel the loss of Thorin as if he really was my friend, a real person, I'm crying ( 0:54 ). Sorry for my probably bad English.
I like to think that Tolkien would've been touched to see how much talent he has inspired. Unfortunately, Béren has joined Luthien, and he's not with us anymore. He can't see nor listen such a beautiful tribute to his work. So, even if i'm nothing more than a whisper in the wind, i'd like to thank you for this beautiful song.
Wow, so many lovely comments already, thank you everyone! I'm so honoured that this song is making so many of you happy... Please keep the comments coming! Eurielle
This is the most fitting tribute to the King Under the Mountain I have seen, Your song also fully explains (what the movie doesn't!) what is done with Orcrist and the Arkenstone, and your mention of the Arkenstone as a shimmering light in darker days fits very well with the War of the North which is brought to the gates of Erebor and where Dain dies defending his people during the War of the Ring.
Woah I had this video in my playlist for months thinking it was from the actual hobbit soundtrack, I JUST realised it's not and its soo good that I was fully convinced it was from the film and I missed it somehow... Simply put amazing
The lyrics, the composition, the arrangement, and your voice are so eloquently combined. This is the perfect tribute for Thorin and I must say, I am extremely glad to have stumbled upon your channel. The music you create is comparable to Enya's - you seem to be quite capable of invoking the ideal amount of emotion into your songs. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
+Eruiwen Galadhiavas Hi there, thank you so much for your very kind words; they mean a lot to me. I hope you enjoy my future videos as much as this one! I'll be releasing a new video probably some time in March, for one of the original songs on my album... All the best, Eurielle x
Thorin Son of Thrain II may have been fictional but his death has still impacted many a folk whomst dwells in reality, whilst he lays buried in Erebor in middle earth, far from our reach, unable to visit. Few fictional characters can truly impact peoples lives like the ones Tolkien has written, his characters teach us lessons that few now can still teach, they guide us like few now can. Thank you Tolkien, for giving us the ability to visit your spectacular world of fantasy and wonder.
+Macro Thank you so much Macro! I wonder if you'd be interested to hear my debut album, 'Arcadia' too then? I just released it last Saturday! Eurielle, I can't tell you enough how i love your two songs. Lament for Thorin and Song of Durin... they are close to my heart... they are beautiful... I hope you make even more beautiful music! oh, I almost forgot about The bridge of Khazad Dum... I adore thet one too! :)
When you sing this song, you remember me of all the tears I cried when I saw Thorin dying. You received so many nice comments, I just want to say I agree with all of them. Great work, great song. I think Thorin, in his grave, would love to listen to this as much as I do.
Thank you Ruth! I'm actually working on another LOTR video at the moment, so keep an eye out for that, and I'm going to be doing a collaboration soon with Peter Hollens as well (probably on Lament For Thorin) so hopefully you'll enjoy them :) Eurielle
Your voice is so beautiful. Such an amazing talent. You music is so powerful and inspirational Eurielle. Such an honour to be able to listen to your voice and song.
By listening to this my heart broke a little more again. This is so beautiful and you have such an incredible voice. I really love this song! May Thorin's memory never fade...
I hope you are proud of these masterpieces you have blessed us with. So many families across the globe have their hearts touched by your voice. I hold a special place in my heart for lord of the rings and your voice transcends me to the middle earth. Thank you so much❤️
This brought me to tears on the second line. Thorin has always been a character dear to my heart, one of my favourites. This truly honours his glory. Well done.
This is one of those songs you never want to end. Just like Song of Durin. I listened to that on loop for around 2 hours when I discovered it. Fantastic, amazing work.
Thank you Lexxie! Do you like Game Of Thrones too, or Nine Inch Nails? My next video (which I'll be releasing very soon) is a short cover of Hurt by NIN set to footage from GOT. I hope you'll like that too 😊 ... Eurielle
I need to start watching GoT, actually! I listen to the kind of genre NIN comes from, so that sounds pretty good. I'm going to check it out for sure. I love listening to your work!
somewhere in the world, I really hope that there is someone growing independently from the rest of us, one that is worthy to carry on this artistic passion for the curiosity of middle earth and bring it to light once more as it once was. I yearn for the day when middle earth is shown once again on the big screen.....
OH MY GOD! Thank you! This is so beautiful. You remind me that music is art. Please keep it up. Your voice + LOTR/Hobbit is just amazing. You have a new fan. Please keep doing what you are doing. INCREDIBLE!
Ma Ze Thank you for giving me such a lovely comment! My next song and video will be based on Game Of Thrones so I hope you'll enjoy that too... All the best, Eurielle
I just found your music. It's all incredible. You have great skill, and amazing vision. May you bless us with your gift for many years. The world Tolkien created with his words so long ago captured my heart at a young age, and refuses to let go. It is a special place to me and your music is a beautiful tribute. Thank you, deeply.
Imagine this being sung at the funeral of Kili, Fili, and Thorin by none other than Tauriel and seeing all of the crying faces that are remembering their lost friends. *hides from angry fangirls*
That would actually be really amazing if they had done something like that. Or even if it was just being sung in the background and not by an actual character so you could just see Tauriel's sadness in full.
1:51 "an elven blade forged in elder days" is my favorite line every. I can't even describe how much I love it. I mean I love the whole song, but that line gets me every time, i just love it so much. Thank you for creating this beautiful masterpiece!
You have such an ethereal, stunning voice that gives me the goosebumps. I absolutely adore your songs, I lose myself in them. Just beautiful and I am so thankful I found your songs after HDSounDI posted one of your songs. Just blissful. Thank you and I keep up the good work :)Music like yours that gives me faith in music today :)
Raquel Ferro Hi Raquel, thank you for giving me such a lovely comment! I'm really glad you're enjoying my music. I'll be releasing all of the rest of my music this year, so I hope you'll like that too :) Eurielle x
This is the most rightful video i ever seen for Thorin's loyalty, heroness, and unstopable courage…………… i even forget to breath after listening to this because i am almost wet through tears and i am freezing and nonstoply crying.
Came back to listen again because i just rewatched the trilogy. And i started to cry like a baby again hearing the song... i remember Thorin, the most stubborn and proud but the bravest, kindest and most noble hero, he was a flawed king but his noble quality shines through it all... Thorin, who was greatly admired and respected, who has given it all for his kingdom and people but now can no longer walk to see the brighter days of his people... thinking about it makes me sob again!
Hi Everybody! A lot of you are asking me if I'm going to upload this song, and Song Of Durin up to iTunes and Spotify... Sadly, I can't do that at the moment, but that's not to say that it definitely won't be possible in future! I'll keep you all posted on this... Love, Eurielle.
I would be very very glad if you could produce a Galadriel's song, "Ai laurië lantar lassi surinen". A completely new version of it would be awesome, one like Galadriel would have sung. I know it's not easy, i tried it myself but i'm sure you could make something astonishing with this song! Please please telpe liroma!
Thank you Eurielle for your beautiful music and for sharing it with your fans I have watched all of the Hobbit and LOTR series and i have loved The Hobbit since i was a kid thank you for reminding me of how much i love it
Your voice is beautiful Eurielle! very haunting and angelic! I can think of so many Celtic songs you could sing that would be incredible! Ye should definitely do some Irish tracks!
Bilbo once said, "Underneath all that blood and dirt, there is a chance of new life... It may sound hopeless, it may sound foolish, but...um, really...what can anyone do?... And when faced...with DEATH... what can anyone do?... You go on living... ... Mm?" Thorin may be dead, but his history, his courage, his will to sacrifice himself, and his loyalty will never be forgotten... His soul and his body is dead, but his spirit remains alive in everyone's heart. This song...has got to be one of my favorite songs. It reminds me of how Thorin gets to realize how selfish he was during the battle of the five armies, and how he gets to change and not be afraid anymore to face the death and the cruelty outside his kingdom... Like a true king, warrior, and leader. I just heard this song like a few weeks ago, and I heard this song again and again and again, because...it's so beautiful... Couple of years ago, but yet the sadness, sorrow, and the memory still remains... Thank you very much @EURIELLE for the song, it's very beautiful, and this song always touch my heart so hard that I almost cried... Thorin: A true born leader who once fell into selfishness but rises up to fight it and sacrificed himself to safe Erebor and Middle Earth...
Just came here form Peter Hollens' cover of this. I had never heard it before, this is so beautiful! It brings feelings in me that make me want to sit quietly and let my tears fall.
After hearing this I must ask... Nay beg!! you to put this up for download. This song is... I honestly can't describe how much this song made me feel. Please please!! keep making such beautiful songs. I for one will keep listening, and if you ever put your two Hobbit songs up for sale I know I will buy them.
I fell in love with the Song of Durin and was eagerly waiting for the promised song for Thorin's funeral. This is simply amazing. Sounds like something that could be added into the soundtrack of the movie :)
I had just discovered your music ten or so minutes ago, and then...I clicked the link to this wonderful, inspired work of art. This is gorgeous, and deeply touching. Please, continue expressing your talent for all the world to hear.
More than singing a song, you embody the spirit of middle earth. I am voiceless before your talent, truly. As an author myself, i believe that if tolkien was still alive, he would be so much proud and happy to see you transform his words into so powerfull feelings. Whatever will happen to youin the future, remenber that you made fall in tears thousands of people with this song. I wish to you good continuation because you reached the higher state that many singers cannot reach; you are a true artist, with your work you can touch the human soul with true beauty
Amazing! I came on today to see if anything was new and... you stole my breath away in awe with this new beautiful song. This really is incredible. I hope you will make more of these because I am in love with your songs! ;)
***** Thank you for coming back! I'm really glad you liked my new song too, thank you. I'm actually thinking of doing a song for Game Of Thrones next... Eurielle
EURIELLE The pleasure of coming back is all mine. I love Game of Thrones. I was actually saying to my sister the other day (with no idea of your own intentions) "You know she has such a beautiful voice. It would be amazing to hear some Game of Thrones songs". Haha what a strange coincidence. I really look forward to hearing this! Oh and I must add that your original song "Eurielle" sounds incredible - I really want to hear the rest of it! ~Sophie
Eurielle, you have the most enchanting voice I've ever heard in my life. THANK YOU for giving Thorin a proper burial in my heart. Every time I hear this, it brings so many memories of him and his quest, his noble ideals, that it just brings JOY to my life. TRULY. THANK YOU.
This is an absolutely gorgeous cover and I love the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit franchise. I have heard a lot of beautiful voices but yours is by far one of the best. EVER. The tone of your voice and how you sing is breathtaking and nothing short of magical! You are blessed with an exception gift! Keep up the good work! :)
Sailormoonluver2992 This is a lovely thing to say - thank you! The least Tolkien inspired song and video is currently being recorded and filmed - next weekend I am going to record the male choir...x
Your voice is beautiful! I also love how this and the Song of Durin have slight callbacks to Misty Mountains Cold. It truly feels of Middle-Earth, as if from the Ainulindalë itself

Thank you, Eurielle, for this song.
13MaryCherry Oh thank you, that is a really lovely thing to say! I'm so glad you liked it. Eurielle
This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard in my entire life.
The voice, the emotion and the lyrics, it's all so perfect.
I feel the loss of Thorin as if he really was my friend, a real person, I'm crying ( 0:54 ).

EURIELLE thank for song
I only discovered your channel fairly recently, but...your music is so, so beautiful. And even those words fall utterly short, I am afraid. :')
If you don’t mind me asking, what font do you use and how did you get it?
can I use your name Eurielle to my story for my school?
Who is this person you pledged your service to? Thorin Oakenshield?
He was my friend.
And even further
Nay, he was a brother...
that moment made me cry :')
...You just made my chin pucker as if to cry...

In extended edition of Battle of the Five Armies there is Thorin's and his nephews funeral and both Arkenstone and Orcrist can be seen on his breast.

Came back to listen again because i just rewatched the trilogy. And i started to cry like a baby again hearing the song... i remember Thorin, the most stubborn and proud but the bravest, kindest and most noble hero, he was a flawed king but his noble quality shines through it all...
Thorin, who was greatly admired and respected, who has given it all for his kingdom and people but now can no longer walk to see the brighter days of his people... thinking about it makes me sob again!
wat a beautiful voice you have with that voice you can make any song u wish
Hi Everybody! A lot of you are asking me if I'm going to upload this song, and Song Of Durin up to iTunes and Spotify... Sadly, I can't do that at the moment, but that's not to say that it definitely won't be possible in future! I'll keep you all posted on this... Love, Eurielle.
What a fantastic track. I was touched by this song in ways I cannot communicate. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful piece of art.
This is truly the most beautiful fan song EVER!! I love your voice it's so BEAUTIFUL!!
EURIELLE Your voice is magical, whenever i listen to it i feel as though im in a dream, quite astonishing!
If you could've portrayed a woodland she-elf and sang this at Thorins memorial, what a scene that would've been...
Thank you Eurielle for your beautiful music and for sharing it with your fans
I have watched all of the Hobbit and LOTR series and i have loved The Hobbit since i was a kid thank you for reminding me of how much i love it
Your voice is beautiful Eurielle! very haunting and angelic! I can think of so many Celtic songs you could sing that would be incredible! Ye should definitely do some Irish tracks!
Soooo pretty! My newest song obsession!
Sounds like fine crystal ringing!
This is truly so gorgeous and such a perfect song for Thorin
Bilbo once said, "Underneath all that blood and dirt, there is a chance of new life... It may sound hopeless, it may sound foolish, but...um, really...what can anyone do?... And when faced...with DEATH... what can anyone do?... You go on living...
...
Mm?"
Thorin may be dead, but his history, his courage, his will to sacrifice himself, and his loyalty will never be forgotten...
Just wow, the voice of an angel !
After hearing this I must ask... Nay beg!! you to put this up for download. This song is... I honestly can't describe how much this song made me feel. Please please!! keep making such beautiful songs. I for one will keep listening, and if you ever put your two Hobbit songs up for sale I know I will buy them.

Your voice is not from this world. Amazing. I really have no words. I just discovered your music and I don't know where have I been before.
Magnifique. Vraiment. Ta voix m'émeut, comme à chaque fois. *-* bonne continuation.
I fell in love with the Song of Durin and was eagerly waiting for the promised song for Thorin's funeral. This is simply amazing. Sounds like something that could be added into the soundtrack of the movie :)
This. Is. Amazing. Tolkien would be proud. I hope you release this and Song of Durin on iTunes soon so I can listen to them every day!
I had just discovered your music ten or so minutes ago, and then...I clicked the link to this wonderful, inspired work of art. This is gorgeous, and deeply touching. Please, continue expressing your talent for all the world to hear.
I nearly cried at 1:10! We will remember you Thorin!
That was beautiful.
This, WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Mind blown.
You have the most beautiful vocals Eurielle. I love the song and the video, and the lyrics. Really great.
Your voice is beautiful! I also love how this and the Song of Durin have slight callbacks to Misty Mountains Cold. It truly feels of Middle-Earth, as if from the Ainulindalë itself
wow, your voice is so enchanting!
Way to go and make me cry over Thorin even more! Love this song, going to check out all of your songs now :)
Only one word - beautiful!
It's nice to hear song only about Thorin, it's a kind of tribute and it's amazing, good work
