    I absolutely love, Love, LOVE your hair and feminine aura!!!! Positively BEAUTIFUL!!!!
    You’re whole style is just *Chef’s Kiss”!!!
    So elegant. My daughter’s hair is about waist length and I recently had her leave braiding it for a bit and began doing flat twists and two strand twists. I plan on having her watch your hair prep videos so she could know how to go about doing different styles with her twists.
    Keep up the great content!!!

    Thank you Maya for allowing us to get to know you. Thanks for answering my questions as well. I can appreciate your candid views on religion and politics. ITA...in different phases of our lives we change. Our views of spirituality, life and priorities evolve. I understand and respect your political views, and we should be able to discuss and engage in a reasonable dialogue without hate or disrespect. I too love how you met your husband. Even though you were of different religions you are able to love and grow together. Again, thank you for sharing and I wish you much Love!!! ❤

    Your time line with your husband is exactly mine. A family friend set us up, we had our first date in september dated and got engaged ine early december. We have been married 38 years.
    I do believe certain things are meant to be.
    I do agree with you as an older woman , you used to be able to have different opinions and agree to disagree. Now no you must feel the same or like you say you are hating which is just ridiculous.

      Hey Ann! Congratulations on the 38 years !
      I stopped giving people the double take about their relationships when I met David and we progressed very fast lol. We were so happy when we could tell people we’ve been together for a year 🤣.
      Yes completely agree. I can have a conversation with you and not agree on your stance and still love and respect you.

    Hello, thanks for being so transparent with your views. I love your style, maturity & your modesty. Love the way you & your husband met. It’s very similar to how I met my husband. I had to approach him. I am also leaning conservative & believe that people need to take personal responsibility for their circumstances & their choices. It’s taken me a long time to get here. I wish people would look at the issues rather than personalities in political parties. I deeply Respect your view on religion-we’re all evolving. Jesus is the only way to eternal life. He hears & answers prayers. I love you & your channel. Keep the great content coming. Praying for 10K 🎉

      Hey Natural woman. Thank you for that.
      I’ve meet people who were offended that my journey with religion is still work in progress.
      The hubby story😂 lol we were so happy when we could finally tell people we’ve known each other for a year. But once I filmed this video and edited it I thought to myself we need to stop being embarrassed and continue to love our love 😊

    I love your responses and explanation. I wonder what form of Christianity you raised in because it comes off as Pentecostal. I was forced to only wear skirts and dresses for the longest and am slowly turning back to it as an get older.

      🙋🏿‍♀️It’s not just Pentecostals. I grew up in skirts and dresses but nondenominational Christian. While I live in America, I’m not from here but it’s very common to wear those things daily for many women in faith and by feminine women. .

    Congrats on 5k! It’s a milestone that should be celebrated. 🎉 I’m building my audience back up from such a long break away from RUclips. I don’t have 20k people tuning in at all 😅 but slow and steady! Wishing you continued success!
    It was really cool to learn more about you. I love that you approached your husband with the opportunity for him to approach you! 😂
    I thought your commentary on politics was very poignant. People tend to expect me to be extremely liberal just because I happen to have a wife and though I definitely lean left, I’m not registered as a dem or repub. I also have a traditional role now as a stay at home wife. There’s too much nuance in the world to simply say I’m this or that, for me at least.
    I also don’t like the idea that we’re expected to so easily discuss things like money, politics and religion with strangers out in the world so often. Especially because everyone expects you to take their side. It’s odd to me but I’m a geriatric millennial and I guess I qualify as a little old skool now. 😂

    • @KlassicallyKept
      @KlassicallyKept  Год назад

      Hey Curly Chronicles! First the geriatric millennial had me dying 😂. And see I didn’t even know that about you, thanks for sharing and your family deserves to be respected just like anybody else’s .
      Lol yes I love our love story too. Just remember if he ever comes to a vlog and tries to tell y’all he spoke to me first he’s lying…… he tried to pull that at our wedding too 😂.
      I completely with you, somethings don’t have be discussed and should be kept within the family.

    You’re correct. Although both religions: Islam and Christianity along with other major world religions have similar morals their underlining message is different. I love that you’re exploring your spirituality and I do implore you to look more into Christianity. It’s more of a faith and not a religion. There are rules we’re asked to abide by but, that’s not what will determine whether we’ll enter the Kingdom of heaven or not. We are saved by faith(in Jesus) and not works(having morals) which is contrary to Islam and other religions. So, if you believe in the work of Jesus(that He was perfect and died for your sins and then ascended into heaven) then that’s all you need! I would explain more in detail but, the Bible is the best resource to answer any questions you may have and explain more in detail. I just found your content and we have similar tastes in clothing, you’re a great fashion resource for the modern modest woman!

      Hi. This is great. I'll add that in Christianity, once we're saved by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, we are to bear fruit. Meaning we live out our faith not work for it; there is a difference. We are able to do this with the help of the Holy Spirit who enables us to become more like Christ each day. We only receive the Holy Spirit once we trust Christ as our Savior and the Holy Spirit dwells in us forever. The Holy Spirit enables us to live for Christ and follow God's Will for our life. Our new life in Christ should line up with God's Word, the Bible. I hope this was helpful. I've just started watching your videos and I'm trying to follow a simple hair routine again. Thanks so much :)

      James 2:17 KJV Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
      Revelation 14:12 KJV Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
      You need both faith and works thus said the lord.

      Hello MsStacey, thank you. I consider myself to be a pretty tolerant person, however I think some people are taking some things and running with them. Lol and as I have gotten older I find that I align more or so with conservative view my father says that is because of my mother, but I think it really just has to do with growing up and have responsibilities.

    • @msstacey777
      @msstacey777 Год назад

      @@KlassicallyKept absolutely. With growth comes wisdom and knowledge. I’m open minded about a lot of things but at the same time WE are all out here trying to maintain and live. I’m in my 40s and I was never raised to be the “victim” or to make excuses as to why I can’t or won’t do something unless it was a valid excuse. Accountability is definitely lacking in a lot of people.
