elegant ladies never wear elegant woman how to be elegant classy
Makeup is a learning curve. Some of the “non makeup” looks actually uses a lot of makeup, but it takes skill of knowing color and proper blending to pull if off.
Yes I am aware of that lol, I asked for that for my wedding and it took forever. I am referring to the unnatural makeup and so much where you no longer look like yourself
@@KlassicallyKept I wasn’t disagreeing with you, I have the same sentiments 😊. Just adding to your point that good makeup application is a learning curve.
Some women are going to have to reckon with the fact that elegance is not synonymous with conservative. You can be elegantly nude. You can elegantly wear nail art and color. Wendi Deng--as rich as she is, as well connected and public as she is--has no problem wearing nail art. Herve Leger started off targeting upper class women, so I don't know how that silhouette is suddenly tacky across the board. Elegance is a bit more complicated than people make it out to be.
I am a licensed mail tech and professional in corporate America. It’s super fun to do the dramatic nails(Swarovski, 3D art). However, elegant women prefer a clean French, red/nude gel polish and that’s that. This is pure fact and NOT an opinion.
Hello Ms Nikki. I bet they are very fun to do and nothing wrong with that !
LOL I am glad someone else said it and not just me. As I said in the beginning these are my opinions; if an 18 year old wants to wear teddy bears on her nails , why not ? She 18 , she is worried about finding herself not being elegant !
Thank you for this video ❤! I work with teenaged girls. Many are not taught these expectations and it is often not modeled. I do my best to demonstrate elegance everyday as an example to our young sisters. Part of my job responsibilty is to redirect them regarding appropriate attire (clothing only). At times I get A LOT of pushback because they are influenced by pop culture. The most common phrase I hear is "They shouldn't be looking at my clothes anyway" or lack thereof. You are younger than I am, so your video gives me hope for our young ladies. Thank you again!
Also, flesh colored undergarments under white clothes has been a game changer for me.
I agree with everything mentioned here. Especially the short shorts. I hate to see it and sitting in public areas where I may sit...unpleasant to think what is leaking out...
Wow… didn’t even think of that. Lol
I just don’t want to see your cheeks while I’m at the mall or brunch.
@@KlassicallyKept I agree!
Agree with all these items. They aren’t evil - they simply aren’t elegant. I’ve started to pull back on the makeup lately. Thank you 😊
Good morning Natural Woman.
Really ? What has made you pull back on the makeup some ?
@@KlassicallyKept natural looks so much better. I wish I had a clear complexion like yours but I have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks which requires me to wear color corrector & concealer. I stopped using foundation & eye liner. My husband also likes it. 🤩
Yes to all of this! The lashes! I can't. I work in an operating room so we always have masks on. I only see people's eyes to help me identify them. Most days, I can't tell one black woman from the next cuz they all wear those ridiculous lashes and pounds of eye makeup. They all look the same! 😭 And the edges 😒 We used to do that back in the 90's with Vaseline and a rat toothed comb, thought we were sooo cute... But we were like 12 years old not grown women 🤣 Folk today are doing the absolute most just to look cookie cutter.
Hello
Nasat·tat Sakhamtat Nadjartat Amuntat !
Your last sentence " Folk today are doing the absolute most just to look cookie cutter."
All of the Instagram baddies and just women in general are beginning to look the same. All of the things I mentioned can be done in beautiful and moderate ways, its when they are taken to the next level and become excessive.
I never want to look like someone else
Thank u. Discussing decent dress. Better than complaining about hair so often.
I hear NO lies. Thank you queen for entering the chat!
of course!
Skin looks pretty! Refreshed
Thank you Ms Nikki
Mya, you are on point with this video. Totally agree with nails, bonnets in public, too tight and revealing attire and torn jeans. I enjoy makeup but too much is too much. The stripper shoes take the cake!!! lol
Lol hey MJ!
The stripper shoes, they just don’t look good and read very cheap.
The makeup I have no problem with when it enhances your beauty or perhaps conceals a little blemish the amount of make up some of these young women are wearing is too much
Shout out to all the island girls!!! lol (batty rider and poom poom shorts) are def a no no. Loved the video I fully agree. Team Elegant ladies, stand out in the crowd.
Hello Tropical Sunshine! Lol absolutely stand out. There is nothing wrong with leaving a little to the imagination
I don’t know. Do what you want. Who am I to tell another woman whether she’s elegant or not? I can only decide what’s elegant for me.
Everybody looks the SAME🥴
Same Clawey Nails
Same Lashes
Same Fake Hair
Same Heavy Makeup
Same BBL
Same..Same..SAME!!🥴
Hello Apple Pie!
I have no problem with makeup , hair , wigs , nails etc. These items mentioned are supposed to enhance your natural beauty.
The issue is the amount, some of these women look like caricatures of themselves when really they were beautiful to begin with. Why are your eyelashes touching your forehead ?
Now I’m not going to lie when I was in college I briefly thought about a ta ta job and then I discovered push ups 😂😂😂.
so we should all look like you so called elegan women that get cheated on by women with the looks u just mentioned.
Would you do a video on how you keep your nails? I haven't found a natural nail maintenance routine I love yet
I agree with everything you stated. Here's one you may or may not agree with...how about a slip, if your dress or skirt is see-through, you need a slip. Depending on the fabric, if your skirt or dress is unlined, you need a slip.
Another thing, elegant women don't have tattoos.
@@jenniferbrooks410 what about piercings ?
@@KnL9713 Yep those too.😏
Good morning Jennifer!
Yes the slip lol. I haven’t worn a slip since I was little, I will wear crinoline to make a dress have more volume.
@@jenniferbrooks410 I would have to agree with the tattoos
I have just seen your content and must compliment how respectful you are and how careful your criticisms are of inappropriate attire. Thank you for such wonderful advice and differentiating between style and elegance. I learned a lot from you and I am almost certain that I am much older than you are. I never knew those shoes were considered inappropriate and "stripper' shoes. In the past, I've purchased and worn a clear/ glass like shoe to which some remarked were porno/stripper shoes. Do you know this to be also true? By the way, while Candace Owens is mostly political and does not address your choice of topics, she could stand to take more than a few pages from you on how to address others and issues with respect. God bless you. You are beautiful. 🙏
Hello Deline! Thank you.
I try to voice my opinions in the most respectful way, but at the end of the day you are going to offend someone.
I wouldn't say all clear shoes are striper/porn shoes but when you start getting into the 4/5 inch platform realm is where things may get a little sketchy lol. Thank you so much for your support.
You are definitely on point with this video. I just love your videos!!!
Good morning Nay Nay and thank you so much !
I love your channel 😍❤️❤️❤️ Love it
Thankyou Praise!
Hi.Just come across your channel i'm loving your content, thank you for this.
Hello Ketrice, thank you !
You look great!
Thank you
I agree with all the examples you gave and I enjoyed the video😊
Hello Vibrant A. Thank you !
Hello. Thanks for the video🤗
of course
I agreed until u spoke on the ripped jeans lol. I love them soooo much. Everything else on point w me! I actually appreciated this video, so thank u😊❤
I actually agreed with all the points. I was a nail queen do you hear me! Not to the 3d art but bright colors , stiletto extendos 😂😂 I had a baby and that isn’t ok anymore
lol hello HairMunsta. And see you did it, enjoyed it , and now you have moved on.
I agree 100% with this video.
Thank you West Coast Wisdom
I agree with everything stated. I’ve switched from reds, pinks, and nudes to a classic French mani/pedi. Could never do blue or yellow or orange polish.
I was looking for jeans and this pair fit me so well but they had one rip at the knee and I said nooooooooo! 😅 I decided to get them (probably shoulda left em 🤦🏾♀️) and close the hole and possibly do a 70s patchwork thing to cover it as they’re flared. I’ve always disliked this trend and man they just took over!
You know, some people wear baby hairs low so they minimize their forehead but I think it draws more attention! I say this as someone with a big forehead. 😂
And I slurp my ramen at a ramen house, compliments to the chef!
Hey Curl my Chronicles! Lmbo you sent me with the slurping! I put my elbows in the table, but I think that is more of a subconscious rebellion as I was not allowed to do that when. I was young lol.
The baby hairs, lol again nothing wrong with them , but the “grown hairs “ that people are trying to lay down are getting ridiculous. I can understand the big forehead thing lol!
Nail polish on my nails have never really been my thing, I love getting my toes done though. Whenever I did get my nails done it was always French or a very neutral color l!
I totally agree! Thank you so much for your commentary. ❤
thank you
Even your voice is elegant 😍
Guilty 🙋🏾♀️ : I wear high waist jeans most of the time (without holes).
Hello Kannel , thank you lol.
Nothing wrong with wear jeans high waisted or normal. The jeans with the ridiculous cutout , like basically you are wearing shorts and so many slits and cuts.
Binge watching your older videos. The list is a bit longer as we al know, but to add to the most important ones you've mentioned, i'd love to add that an elegant woman or a lady never uses profanity and doesn't discuss her intimate life with others, especially not in a vulgar way. I know women as grown as 50 years old who are guilty of this. They call it being hip or staying 'relevant'. I say it's disgusting.
Hello Nina! I agree with you wholeheartedly.
Good content specially the them eyes rashes and baby hair and the slits and the bonnet Lord is nonooo
I have naturally long nails. I put the SNS powder to keep them from breaking. No nail art. Long nails can be done classy.
Hello Robin.
I have long nails myself, I keep them plain and well manicured.
I was referring to the nail art: bright colors, 3d art, rhinestones, embellishments, ETC
same ❤
what is that dear? SNS?
All your points are 100% right. Totally agree with everything you say. Thanks for this straight-to-the-point video.
Hello Chantal! Thank you
Lets call it what it is.. A lot of the things you mentioned long nails, broomstick long eye lashes, little to no clothing, dressing exposed, wearing bonnets, etc. is all just a GHETTO mess. And what's sad is, women will argue with you on this.
I totally agree with you especially makeup girls will be looking like drag queens these days makeup is suppose to enhance beauty not look completely different
Am a bit late to this conversation. I don't completely agree with a lot of what has been said. There are a lot of black women who are naturally elegant regardless of how they dress, whether they have tattoos or piercings. It is in the way they carry themselves. Just my opinion. A black woman should be able to just be.
Great video very informative and eye opening. I'm only guilty of the jeans ....smh. Trying to follow the crowd and felt sooooo exposed wearing them. An old ww came up to me and actually rubbered my leg with her finger😬😒. That was my sign to "NEVER WEAR THEM AGAIN. Other than that "I'm proud of myself 😊😊😊😊😊. Thanks again for such a wonderful video
Totally agree 💯
Thank you
Agree but with the caveat that French manicures are not considered elegant in many circles.
I'm elegant and wear jeans with holes. 😀
Elegant women sound very boring.
😊
What about leggings for workouts. Do elegant women wear those?
At 5:48…..smh. Where were her friends?
she may not have any real ones
🕷🕷
👄
🤣🤣🤣
Yes , the eyelashes are a bit out of control
Stop!🤣
@@IAMCHIDERA It’s so ugly and sad.😒
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Guess my mommy raised me correctly💁🏾♀️
My mum went to the ATM to make a withdrawal and the girl in front of her had to ask her to help remove her card because the girl's nails were too long to remove it.
Lol when your fashion choices are interfering with everyday life you may want to rethink. What would she have done if your mother was not there ?
That happened to me last month 😂😂😂 my three years old son removed the card for me. But I like growing my nails very long.
The make up is ridiculous and I like the talent of the nail artists but the style is not for me. I'm good on the caterpillar eyelashes.
lol hello R Jones. That is a very good description , caterpillar.
