I just purchased the new 4th gen Echo Dot and completed the setup and it works great. The only question I have is after you ask the dot a question and it replies the light goes off and it only responds if you hit the action button. Is there a way to put it on standby so it doesn't shut down immediately after aswering a question?
Hey Erin! Thanks for sharing it! I like full echo better but too bad it’s doesn’t have clock because if you put it next to TV, you can easily look up the time for your favourite show. Most smart TV don’t have a clock so this device would have helped if included the clock. Take care Erin! 👍🏻👍🏻
Hello, Erin! My Alexa's voice every time in the morning, after 10/12 hours without using the echo 4th generation device, is muffled when i speak to her at the first time. In the second time and all day long her voice is ok. Do you Know if there is any relation with the save energy mode?

Hi Erin with these new Echo devices , can you still use the other devices in another room eg Kitchen , bedroom etc
Does both the echo and the echo dot have the temperature sensor feature?
Only the 4th gen echo, and the echo +2nd generation have temperature sensor. It’s not available in the dot.
@@ErinLawrenceTV It was confusing when you’re talking about the temp sensor while showing a close up of the dot that doesn’t have one.

How can I set up the echo device with with Sony android TV. Can I use use as TV speaker
I wonder if that would work? I know it works with fire TV operating system but I’m not sure about android TV… Maybe someone else here knows…?
