This skill is the biggest bitch to GM and then Legendary. I did it probably 15 years ago and still have nightmares about great harts. Tamer is pretty sweet though once you're done training.
My favorite character to play was bard with discography and provocation. Discography may be even more of a pain to get to 120 than taming honestly. It worked similar to taming where you have to train on certain enemies depending on what skill level you're at.
I love the tamer char once you get levelled up they are so much fun.

@@ObsidianGamingTv Yeah, tamer provoc is a great combo. Disco gets pretty powerful at 120. It was good on the peerless bosses, lady mel particularly. You can disco Lady Mel and provoc the sattires onto her at the start. Me and my uncle used to be able to kill her with just 2. We could do Travesty with 2 as well.
Its me again i finally got a dragon egg. I took a break from UO for about 7 months. But i came back got my meta stone and all that. So now im going all out!
Sometimes it does you good having a little break but the meta dragon will keep you busy for some times as they are a massive grind. Have fun
@@ObsidianGamingTv I got stage 4 in 4 days. I grinded that out abit LOL. Just not having 100 taming is my next goal cause i need 100 for young. I even got a skill gain perk but barely got any gains. So ima have to buy scrolls again darn it! You aint kidding about grind. Any profits made is invested right back in.

Im BigWein187 from previous comments, didn't know i wasn't even subbed on my main. I made a tamer when i started im at like 85. Didn't do music tho didnt know u needed provoke. My vet is still LOW as crap. I only tamed for a few days and got 85. Like 2 days total maybe not even that. How do u get the egg's ? Like the dragon egg's or what not ? I seen some animal taming scrolls listed for 125k through discord, also on a few vendors. I got like almost 3m in gold saved up. ( Ive farmed alot more in 2 weeks total ) I started off with provo archer. I been trying to get my first relic tho for necro. I just had a rough time finding more stuff to tame after a few days. I went all over the place looking for bulls. The system seems odd how you can GAIN. Ive gained more off lower lvl animals than ones i should be taming at 85.
For the eggs you have to beat the rda bosses and it’s a rare drop. It’s easier to buy from another player.
Nice work on the savings mate, the provo archers rock. But if you provo with 2 dragons it’s more fun 😄
Great Harts are good too. I used to find a lot of them southeast of Vesper.
