Isn't this more of a cls63/m6gc competitor than an s class/7 series competitor?

maxjtj31 well in some ways yes but the panamera exceutive is wider then an sclass and has a wheel base and lengh almost exactly the same as thes class
it's the more expensive S7/RS7 Audi now that it has the 4.0 instead of the original monster 4.8. Going by the measurements they are fraternal twins.
it is in the price range of the s class not the cls and with executive model it is as big

you can get reclining massaging rear seats in the panamera and fold out tables like the S
It has more of the luxury features of the a8. I agree with you that it looks more like a rs7 though.

Motorized air vents .... because it's just so difficult to adjust air vents manually.
I wish they paid more attention to making cars lighter, reliable and efficient than adding gimmicks.

Well it's a Panamera. Nobody who wants to have a light and normal car buys a Panamera :D By the way, these cars are absolutely reliable and more efficient than you think. If you really want to (nobody wants that, I know), you can drive the Panamera with pretty low emissions and consumption.
***** when it comes to massage seats while driving is not my thing so I agree with you because if I am getting a massage , I want to relax while getting it and not be able to focus on nothing but nothing.

This thing is comfortable as hell. I sat in one and got take one for a spin and mmm. It's comfortable both front and back, and it's very interesting the back screen

Great reviews. Add more external shots ( panoramas ;-) of car exteriors. In the case of the panorama, you spoke at length about the updated body changes but did not show the shots to highlight those changes.

Hey Parker I hope you or someone else is able to answer this. Is this the standard Panamera or is it the executive long wheelbase? Just wondering because the rear legroom is massive.

in switzerland there is already the hybrid version called turbo S E-hybrid with 680 ps and it starts at around 227'000 chf

The Panamera Turbo would be a straight competitor with the M6, RS7 and E63 AMG not the larger sedans.

Pretty much think it looks much harder than it really is. The PDK transmission normally shifts so soft and especially fast that you don't feel the gear change.
@The Real Kurti: I agree. The camera appears to be on his head, not mounted fixed on the car, and *his head* jerks with the sudden acceleration. The PDK transmission is very, very smooth indeed.

Yea Porsche has really stepped up their game on the Panamera however I think the overall refinement of the s-class is still unmatched. I'd pick this second though. Btw nice sub what happened to your AP Offshore? Gotta do a collection vid one of these days parker!

What is weird about that screen center console thingy is that...let’s say you bought one with heated seats but no ventilated seats. Then there will be a little logo of a ventilated seat that won’t light up. That reminded you that you didn’t get the ventilated seats and makes the console look a little weird.
I own a 2014 GTS and I think it’s a beautiful car.

I can't believe he got an S class rather than an Audi S7/S6 or RS7. Made no sense to me. Now I think he realized what a poor choice that was.

No, the S63 and the m760 are much bigger cars.
Don't compare the size od the normal E and S class, to the Panamera Turbo, the AMG versions are bigger.
I am not a fan of the screen controlled fan direction, that is something that should be done with manual controls and tactile feel while you're driving, probably the only major issue I have with the integrated touch screen UI

Solid review, great car, my Audi A6 is 22 years old and my 911 is going on 18 years old so it might be time to retire the Audi and get a Panamera for a sedan to go with the 911 (which is still a great car)
