Just bought the pressure washer & the quick connects but I was wondering if I need the valve that controls the flow of water as well or is that just your preference so you don’t have to go back to the main line to turn the water off?
Hi, have ur bought and connected the quick connects? I just ordered them for 2 of my hose faucets and for the pressure washer. I’m just curious to see what ur opinion is. One of my hoses leaks and I’m hoping this stops that. Thanks!

Thank you. I had to go through trial and error, finding the manual, finding the manual of no help, and 2 other videos before I found your video to see how the soap container is supposed to properly attach the washer. I had incorrectly thought the extender attaches to the soap container and your video shows that it is indeed NOT supposed to attach to the soap container.
I appreciate the review..I just bought this today and was hoping someone had reviewed it and I too left wanting the quick connects which I will be buying tomorrow before I use it for the first time..Thanks again!
You don't need any Teflon tape for this kind of fitting, they seal via an o-ring, not on the threads. You would need Teflon tape on NPT fittings that are tapered and seal on the threads themselves.
Nice you didn't have any issues. Mine started to make a crazy noise. I called greenworks, they heard the noise comming from the pressure washer instantly agreed on sending me a new one with no cost. After I got the replacement I opened the broken one to find out the screws that hold motor and pump together were out of place. There should be 4 screws but only 3 were put in place. I just finish putting it together at midnight. I will try it tomorrow, hope it works again.
The lance connection and soap dispenser connection is call a bayonet its one of the industrie standards out of 13 mostly used in that location on the gun
Great video ! For the twinkle quick connect - u got two of exactly the same right? One pair for hose to wand and one pair for garden hose connect right ? Both twinkle quick connect are same size right ?
Thanks for posting! Lowe's has a Quick Disconnect set that works much better. Easy On and Off each time you use it. I used an extension cord and it worked great.
Thanks for showing and explaining the quick connects cause I ruined the pressure washer connector from connecting to the garden hose because it ended up leaking from unscrewing the garden hose (ruined the threading) 😢 I bought another cleaner and will use quick connects-I didn't know how to use them. THANKS! for explaining and the visual tutorial 😊

Great job & very thorough for newbies to pressure washers like me who own this unit but haven't used it yet. Also thanks for actually using the foam cannon which was what I was looking for as well. # How a video should be done.
The sprayer needs to be held down tight when spraying. The machine wines down if you let go of the handle. Foam cannon is fun to use on outdoor rugs and siding. @@GaryCruzDotCom
The wand and the soap dispenser are made of quality hard plastic, reviewers sometimes refer to plastic parts like they were bad when its not...I got the same washer and Im happy with it. Greenworks make good quality products..
I didn't say it was bad, but it's not as high quality as the Greenworks 2000 which feels like it will last longer. Some people may want to know that since I have both. Don't get me wrong, the soap dispenser is great and I've seen people rave about it on RUclips - after they said it was their first washer. I have another one that works a lot better and was giving my honest opinion.
@@rondamon8004 No worries, I think 99% of the people who buy this who have never owned a pressure washer is going to be VERY happy with it :-) Thanks for stopping by! Excellent video. Which replacement foam cannon did you use? I didn't see it in your video. I bought the Foam Cannon by tool daily and it does not fit my gun.
GREAT Review! Totally picking up one of these......and especially the quick connects! I was on the fence between the 1700 and the 2000----and I think for washing my siding, car, and a little concrete---the 1700 will be fine.... I like that it's compact, etc.
I just bought this thing after I saw your review and I love it!! It’s much more powerful than I expected given it’s only 80 dollars. I am thinking of getting an extension cord for future use soon but the paper manual said they do not recommend extension cord (although they didn’t say you can’t use one). Which one do you recommend and has the one you used in the video given you an issue? If not what are the specs for it so I can get the same one? Thanks a bunch
Teflon tape is not required when the connector has a rubber washer or gasket. This M22 connector has a double-rubber o-ring. So... nice job, but no need. And wrench not needed to tighten, for same reason. hand-tighten only. I think using quick-connects is a good idea, but there are some downsides. First, the connector sticks out a long way, which negates some of its compactness, and makes it harder to store. Also, it makes the connector more susceptible to damage, because of the extra leverage.
Went out and grabbed this while on sale after watching your vid. Two more questions, saw a 3/4 hose 50 foot, figured bigger hose would make easier pressure , would it hook up and work on this unit? Do you use pump saver to maintain the seals in this smaller unit, it's also for winterising.
