    Too bad hair cloning hasn't become a reality. Hair transplanting is definitely the answer, but for us that are norwood 5/6, there's not enough donor area to completely cover the top of the head. So you go from being completely bald, to looking like you're going bald, which for some of us is a worse overall look. Oh well.

    • @robford374
      @robford374 Год назад +17

      I wouldn't even say hair transplanting is definitely the answer. So many hair transplants look so unnatural, you really have to get the best out of the best doctors to make it look somewhat natural and even then its questionable. Nothing is like the hairline of your youth. Best is to take finasteride as soon as you see hair shedding.

      I just had a 2400 graft procedure from Bosley. They said the length of the donor hair doesn't matter because they cut it down to a specific length (very short) before inserting the graft. They shaved my entire head with a #1 guard (1/8 inch) before the procedure because I wanted everything to match the graft length. They would've left it longer if I wanted, and it wouldn't have affected the grafts at all.

It seems a lot easier than nose jobs and whatnot, I'm wondering if there's a big difference in skill between doctors doing this, the same way plastic surgeons compete for business. Fast forward to 2023 most of the hair from the 2010 and 2012 has fallen out. I would say 80-90% of it. Is this normal? I'm wondering Why would something like this happen.
