The Healing card DOES work, Tom. It doubles any healing done (and deals the healing done as damage, so if you pick up a floor chicken in any other stage (because there is no items in the Bone Zone), you deal 90 damage to any monsters closeby). Assuming you have any amount of regeneration, that counts as healing, which is why you are doing constant, if minimal, damage to all monsters in the vicinity.
@@christopherg2347 The healing build is super fun on the first DLC character, they gain extra max health when healing so you can become a very tanky boy
I did not know the Skeletamari could get that big, but I don't grind in the area it goes back and forth between, and mobs only spawn so far away from you.
To kill the bone ball is easy. First, he is sucking up the monsters. So stay away from him at start of the game. No monsters, he doesn't grow. Next, you want santa water and probably the Bible. Get those leveled up to Max and for the other stuff, just get whatever works. Then go down to the bone ball and block it position on left or right. The Santa water will cause it to knock back. And basically you can back it up to a position where it doesn't move. Hold it there until it dies. It will die really quickly. Make sure to grab the drop.
the biggest thing to watch out for in the bone zone is the lack of heals. there's no dropped heals but every breakable drops money instead, so the disco of gold arcana is super useful here.
It's been a while since I did it, but the thing with the Skelly ball is that it grows when it runs over enemies - but if you aren't near, it has no enemies to run over, so you should try to get powerful and then head over rather than running straight there. Also, curse is a pretty neutral stat imo, it makes you need to kill faster but the extra spawns give more XP so it somewhat balances out as long as you do enough damage - especially if you have the weapon that deals %health damage, kind of mitigating the downside of extra health.
@@techno1561 1 weapon and XX arcana along with little bit leveling, Skeletor can be easily beaten. Hello Tom, Fantastic to see you back in Vampire Survivors! Laurel evolves when you pick up Left Metaglio and Right Metaglio. Both of the red items in the map, you then have to level all three fully to get the evolution Crimson Shroud.
"I do not know what we are doing there." tbh I don't know if any reasonable gamer could figure it out without the wiki. the dev really went old style Castlevania like with the secrets.
It's almost weird to watch Tom play this now. I bought the game after watching him play, but have progressed so far comparatively that it feels like he's playing a totally different edition.
Clock Lancet, Silver Ring and Gold Ring All Maxed out evolved into a weapon that Halves enemy health each time it goes off. It would be good for these type of enemies, also good for killing Death at the end of the timer.
to unlock the tree you have to play the plant level as the doggo and just run around in the bushes just north of the spawn the whole time (they can be killed over and over and instantly respawn and give you tons of xp)
The secrets only really unlock a few joke characters, to unlock more maps, weapons, arcana and regular characters you should be trying to get the achivements which are different from the secrets.
@@doggosuki I suppose but starting with evolved weapons is less good than it seems, it makes the early game free but later on you're more or less as powerful as you would be with any character, I prefer choosing characters for their stats (like you say though some secret characters have that too)

Should work well with the Upgraded Garlic too.
I think the Upgraded whip also had lifesteal?

I hope he figures out that the rings and arrows are for killing Death. Also hope he gets to the final stage and beats that boss!
Seeing as he still thinks they are useless, it might be a while.
I just hope that one day he actually reads what the arcana's do. :-)
I can't explain how stressed I was by how close you were to the bone ball
Katamaris are terrifying when you're on the outside.
I did not know the Skeletamari could get that big, but I don't grind in the area it goes back and forth between, and mobs only spawn so far away from you.
The mobs spawn suprisingly far from you. Bosses and Hords don't despawn. so if a hord rush gets past you it can easly end up feading the ball.

I'm so glad you've returned to Vampire Survivors there's so much new stuff in it now and it's fun to watch you discover it
The "static" character is interesting, but out of the secret characters I prefer the bird.
There is something uniquely rad about the idea of an undead entity that's essentially just a whole rolling graveyard.

Don't you know the power of the SKELETORB??? Cmon, it's goblin 101
At some point, I guess the skeletonball just becomes the next calcified zone.
Wow that is a big ol ball of bones
4:29 chooses Arcana that makes Peachone projectiles explode, 4:34 skips Peachone. Brilliant.

Remember when Tom thought the book was bad? Now it’s like he takes it every run 😂
Running around at the speed of sound! rest of that sonic song!!! I just started this game and you are fast af boi!
I’ve waited for years for Tom to take me to the bone zone. Wish consummated.
Love it. I could enjoy Tom plating this game all day 😊
The laurel evolves with the two red items on the map, the lancet with both rings.

"has it gotten bigger?"
It's a good question to ask in the bone zone.

Nice try fake Tom. There's not nearly enough hubris in this response though.
Banishing whip on a map with no healing...
Why is the "pentagram" a star of David with an eye of Horus in it?
