I said it in the last K-pop reaction, but these guys know exactly what they’re doing with music production. They know their demographic and have all the pop elements but still introduce ideas that are interesting. That strings tremolo to bring the drop is so satisfying
I'll be honest, prolly the only kpop song that actually slaps for me. never been a fan of kpop songs bcs theyre so flat, sometimes groovy but nothing more. but this one is really good

The song highlights the bittersweet feelings one experiences at the end of a relationship, where the good times and memories linger. The lyrics speak of holding hands and enjoying each other's company while dancing the "last waltz," as they prepare to say goodbye and move on.
This Album (Formula of Love) is my personal fav from them. All songs is so good that i want you to react to every one of it 🤣🤣

Twice has so many good songs, it's hard to recommend any. I think you should pay attention to these songs: Hell in Heaven, Fake and True, Better, Queen, Love Foolish, Gone, Hot, Kura Kura, Likey, Doughnut. Yes, this is a rather large list, but Twice have been around for about eight years, and during this time they have released a huge number of albums. If you're interested in k pop, listen to Red Velvet - Psycho, you will not regret.

My recommendation would be ESPRESSO from the same album, it's my favourite TWICE song full stop. I appreciate as well that you mostly like to focus on the music, but ive found that they do a lot of textpainting and musical reference to the title or lyrics so having the English lyrics may help you get another level to your listening, like it does for me, but appreciate if it's a distraction or not for you:)

Thank you first of all, again your breakdowns are unparalleled I'm learning so much your explanations are very easy to understand. also yes this song is a great example of the types of sounds you will here from TWICE not similar sounds but the fact that they play with a lot of styles of music. They are always willing to try out new sounds and that's what keeps me coming back to their music. I have always wanted to know also if you could get into how the vocals are arranged and why, I say this because in Twice you have 9 of them where 3 of them have really powerful vocals but but different tones you have 2 that are a bit soft 2 that are kinda high but angelic and 1 with more of a raspy kinda of creaky door type they are all fairly different vocal instruments if you will and I have always thought they arrange their voices so well in the different parts of their music. If you do decide to listen to them again it would be interesting to hear what you think about the song "Talk That Talk" by Twice and the composition of the vocals . again Thank you great reaction!

not sound engineer but feel like they did a lot of sound design in 'more&more' and 'eyes wide open' albums. (they did that a lot but these 2 albums i feel the most) but i know with some might feel too busy (but i love it. :P) 'going crazy' might be fun as how they structure the instruments (to the message) and 'girl like us' as how they re-branding 'phycderlic' music genre.(need with lyric.) :D

This song was not my favorite from their entire career discography, but for me this is definitely the song that have highest quality in terms of music objectivity and technicality. The *camera record* audio is actually mentioned in the lyrics - something like "let's capture these last moments" and the glass break can be interpreted in a way where the couple is too care-free and start doing their "last waltz" and enjoy each other's company and move on.

I absolutely love your breakdowns for the few kpop songs you have done. There are so many gems in kpop that are truly interesting and have so many cool characteristics to them. But kpop is still mostly mainstream and very predictable for the most part, you gotta dig through the top layers to find em. Nonetheless i appreciate your reactions to them and I definitely hope you continue.

One of the things that draws me to Kpop is their practice schedule being so intense. Reminds me of drum corps tbh. They are serious about it and strive for that level of perfection DCI groups go for that you don’t really see in other genres in music. Check out Mamamoo’s Killing Voice. It’s pretty insane.
