With him missing missing 2023 worlds there’s no way he’s gonna do anything in Paris 2024. Hopefully he can go to the US and get a better life there. We don’t deserve him here.
Totally agree. Mindef is just too stubborn compared to south korean military. South Korea is still technically at war with North Korea. Hence if South Korea can grant military exemptions for top athletes winning medals in Olympics and other leagues why Singapore cannot do the same.. This is the reason why local Singaporeans will never make it in the sporting world like representing in the EPL, Formula 1 and etc.

I think the case against sports enhancing drugs is that most of them are detrimental to one’s health in the long run (increased chance of all-cause mortality). So the rules are put in place because athletes shouldn’t have to make the choice of whether they want to risk/shorten their life in order to excel in their sport.
