This song is so close to home for me. I cry every time hearing it. Growing up with a similar situation. My father was never in the picture since birth and then my mom became a addict and chose the drug over my siblings and me. Now I’m grown and have children of my own and she isn’t here. When I think back to her it’s always pain and heartache. I try to think of the good in her but it’s so hard to get thru all the pain and heartache. And the saddest part is the unanswered question of why? Will never be answered. Feel his pain all to well and this song just brings the tears everytime
