@@lyamgray9796 Yeah bro it's true that Jesus Christ loves you and he wants to have a relationship with you. And I saw yo bio so I had to tell you about the good news
There's no much we can say about this song. It just tear our hearts apart, even if we don't relate to the situation. Pain like this is hard to put to words. NF made it and had helped so much people who couldn't. Amazing reaction ladies, you are the best. Wish you well. A big hug 🫂
This makes me appreciate the life I have had, even the many tragic things, because I was truly loved. And it makes me sad for everyone I know who had a very different experience. You don't always know someone's situation. I was taught empathy instead of judgment.
Fun fact the last minute of the song, he had to ask everyone in the studio to leave the room, while he could talk to his mum alone. There was meant to be another verse but decided to save the last minute for the emotional ending and raw speaking that you hear in the song. Edit - #NFRealMusic
As the saying goes, "But for the grace of God, there go I". I relate to this song from the other side, as a mother and an addict (in recovery) and still estranged/alienated from my kids for the last 5 years. I know what my kids went through, and my heart & soul are shattered with shame, guilt, depression, and pain for being "that Mom". I strive every day to live well and make amends, but it's clear that my kids still feel that anger. I can only hope that they are getting good help to cope with that, but I have no way of knowing.
The couch bar is one that’s consistently miss heard by a lot of reactors so hope you guys read it for clarification. When Nate says they were in the couch and he said she said “this isn’t you” what she actually told Nate was “this isn’t me” as in the real her isn’t this addict Nate sees, the reason it’s phrased “she said this isn’t you” is because Nate’s the one describing the situation this is why right after he says “guess a week later you were singing a different tune” as in he saw her as a liar to an extent cause a week later she was back to being that addict. In reality she never said the music she was hearing wasn’t who Nate was or didn’t like it. She actually was proud enough to hear the music that it made her reflect at that time and moment. So just for clarification Nate’s mom said “this isn’t me” as in the addict Nate sees. Great reaction it’s a common bar that’s misinterpreted so no hate
This is reinforced by his next line, which is "A couple of weeks later, guess you were singing a different tune", then reveals that she overdosed (in other words, it made her words about that not being her seem hollow & untruthful).
Thank you! I understand why people misunderstand the line on its face but it's frustrating to see as it's such a key point of how he feels and that he broached the topic with her and was in a sense turned away by her denial which is very familiar situation to any of us who've dealt with similar in our lives and relationships.
I agree with what others have said. Do Mama next for NF. A much needed healed follow up to this song that was on his recent album. Still emotional but in a much different happier way.
What they've done so far Hope ( introduction to ИF ) ✅️ Main songs from MANSION album ✅️ They on album 2 Therapy session ✅️ INTRO 2 Therapy Session ✅️ I just wanna know ✅️ How Could You Leave Us ✅️ Next song is REAL 🙌 ( you're gonna love this one )
I know everyone says follow in order, but I truly think doing "Mama" from Hope immediately after this makes it resonate so much more. To see the progression of dealing with this "burden" in his life. JMO. Love the reactions
Hang in there, ladies- there is growth & healing on this journey... all of which is so much more rewarding when you follow along with Nate's progression (both as an artist & as a person). It's not a spoiler, because you guys always reacted to it, but you may recall the line from "Hope" where he says, "Wake up every day and pick my son up, hold him in my arms And let him know he's loved (loved) Standing by the window questioning if dad is ever going to show up (up) Isn't something he's gon' have to worry about Don't get it twisted, that wasn't a shot Mama, I forgive you I just don't want him to grow up thinkin' that he'll never be enough". He also has a song titled "Mama" on the Hope album that will make you melt.
I want to start off by saying that you are so strong to mention this about how your childhood was like and everything, i don’t know if this comment is going to get seen or not by the lovely lady in the video, but i think you are so strong for doing this. I don’t know how it is to lose a parent to drugs or alcohol, but my grandpa died of alcoholism and i have had so many friends and family members of friends died of drugs and alcohol, it is such a horrible way to go 😢 i just wish everyone was addicted to love, kindness and happiness…..in a healthy amount of course. I loved this reaction from you three, you did an amazing job, NF is an amazing artist and you did this song of his justice with an awesome reaction, keep it up, sending hugs and warmth 🤗♥️
You have to watch the Song "Mama" from his newest album. its like a sequel to how could you leave us except that after years he got a whole new perspective on his mother and forgave her eventually. You should really watch it.
You all absolutely have to listen to “Mama” next! 7 years had passed between these two songs and NF is in a better place mentally. At the time he recorded “Mama” he had a son. And after the song came out he now has a second child, a daughter. It’s an awesome way to see how time changes perception. Please listen to this next! Can’t wait to watch!
Any time I remember my mom I’m always coming here to see your reaction. You guys made me miss my mom I lost my mom when I was 7years old now I’m 27years old
This is my story also so you are definitely not alone! This NF journey can be so sad in the beginning and I think it really throws people off of him but it is about to get sooooo much better! Don’t give up on him! He heals himself and that’s the beauty of his journey
I am always impressed at the number of people who write comments that say that they got sober and/or clean after seeing and hearing this, or that they stayed so after this. While Nate says in various places that his rapping is mostly for him to process his feelings (as he says in this, music is the only place he can go to speak to his mom), I view his music as a ministry to those who are in deep emotional pain and having trouble coping.
So this is A list that I tweaked for the ИF Journey‼️. See what you think of it (the ones with an * have an actual video to it). He loves putting Easter Eggs into them; so keep eyes and ears open!!! Intro* Mansion All I Have* Wake Up* Notepad* Paralyzed Intro II* Therapy Session* I Just Wanna Know Why Did You Leave Us* Real* Oh Lord Grinding* Outro* Intro III Green Light* Outcast* Let You Down* If You Want Love* Remember This No Name Why* The Search* Leave Me Alone* Change When I Grow Up* Time Nate Paid My Dues* Clouds* Story* (Not a part of the Journey, but amazing) Just Like You Lost* Hope* Motto* Mama Happy* Mistake Running
heyy new viewer it’s really sad how relatable this is. sorry if im getting too personal. my mom and i got assaulted by a guy with an assault rifle. i survived but she died right in front of me. the pain of not having a mom is unreal. i was 15 years old
I love your channel. You 3 complement each other and you can tell you're all close. Have you reacted to "Mama" from his new album Hope? If not, that could be a great follow-up to this.
As others have said Mama off the Hope album is a healing from this but Real which would the next one in the journey is a completely different feel. Hills and valleys
As far as the NF Journey, it is good to stick to the order, however there are a few songs that you can mix in from his new music that won't affect the journey. The song Momma from his new album is the sequel to this. Also the song Nate is good to do right now which is from the Search and also about his younger life.
Real should be next, and hopefully, your list includes Oh Lord ( 7th song on Therapy Session, right after Real).....many of them don't because reactors don't want to include religion on their channels. Song is pure FIRE, so hopefully you include. Either way, here for the journey from best artist on the planet.
I literally broke down in bed right now. My Childhood wasn't good either bc of my alcoholic father and my mom was so young and had to work 24/7. He always forgot to pick me up etc. and all he knows to this day is the bottle he's holding. My mind cutted the pain when my Stepfather finally Adopted me so now I can finally be more happy and he will never be able to ruin my life in any way!
It just takes 1 hit of something & you'll be gone for years chasing that first high. Nothing else matters. It's scary cuz you think you're strong enough not to get addicted, & then you wonder how you got to this point. You're sitting in a room thats empty that was once filled of all your favorite things because you sold everything. You want to get help, but you don't want to go through withdrawals. Vicious cycle
I love NF can listen to him for hours ❤My homie Playboy the Beast has a new one "The Beast is back" Tyson James as well with "Pipe Down". hope you check them out .
Definitely the hardest NF song to listen to and watch. Never fails to make me cry so emotional.
Jesus Christ loves you bro
And true this is the hardest song to listen to when you can relate to it so much
@@Vontavius901 I really hope so.
@@lyamgray9796 Yeah bro it's true that Jesus Christ loves you and he wants to have a relationship with you. And I saw yo bio so I had to tell you about the good news
@Vontavius901 thank you. Unfortunately, those days still happen to this day.
Mama from the hope album is like the sequel to this
Ive never clicked on a vid so fast in my life. Hope all is well, and thank you for your reactions ❤

Thank you for spreading that out for youtube but yes it happened

He legit cried in the recording studio and was alone while recording the vocals. His music is so real.

skip the order and listen to "mama" from nf and heal from this one❤
If you need some healing from this one go out of order and listen to “mama” from his hope album. Direct sequel to this song in a way.

you're doing journey perfectly....keep up the great work ......nothing tougher than this one
Love you, Leila ❤
Yall rock socks!
I was 11 last time I saw my mom! 45 Now!
All I can say is that the next song on the journey is much more uplifting and a way different feel.
I just wanted everybody to know what happend i wasnt thinking when they said it was gonna make people cry so
I listen to this song just to feel my mom. To remind myself that she was here. My girls will never experience the pain this song represents.
ИF is good at spacing/placing songs in a certain order so there are flows. Like breathing. Next song is fast and hard.

i miss my mama
He forgives his mom.
I haven't watched all your reactions but you start on the Mansion album and keep going
God bless you.
Music is the place he goes to be close to his Mom.😢
Saying this isn't me meaning she's telling him this isn't her. Not saying this isn't you as in him, she talking about herself.
Real should be next, and hopefully, your list includes Oh Lord ( 7th song on Therapy Session, right after Real).....many of them don't because reactors don't want to include religion on their channels. Mothers can be terrible too. And for their own reasons of course. But they aren't the all holy innocence everyone makes them out to be
Do you remember in the song Hope he forgave his mom
I literally broke down in bed right now. My Childhood wasn't good either bc of my alcoholic father and my mom was so young and had to work 24/7. He always forgot to pick me up etc. and all he knows to this day is the bottle he's holding.
My mind cutted the pain when my Stepfather finally Adopted me so now I can finally be more happy and he will never be able to ruin my life in any way!
We are so sorry for the struggles you have endured! We are sending our love your way! ❤️ thank you for watching and sharing!! ❤️❤️
Two girls with glasses have no emotions all at . Heartbreaking 💔
