How does that sainsbury lady not know anything about what happens in the industry that she works in. It’s just lies because of how embarrassed she is most probably. It’s great that they are being held accountable and being exposed for the pain a suffering that they are responsible for. We need to make them feel disgusted with themselves
Unfortunately some workers don't know. Joey Carbstrong interviewed a ex-cow-farmer. He said when he took the cows to the slaughterhouse he purposely didn't want to see or know what happened in the slaughterhouses. He turned a blind eye. He said you have to disconnect (and stay in the dark) to be in the livestock industry.
When you guys unite and stand together, your power is absolutely immense.
My vegan sister convinced me to do my own research. Now I'm a carnivore. Vegans are ridiculous.

It's a shame, what some people would do, to get Money. I understand that you often can't run a big business without any compromises BUT what they are doing is straightup wrong. The only way to stop, stuff like this, is to cut them from their supply. Cut the supply chains. Slow them down. If you bring a business to struggle, it can fall. And maybe not on the first or second time, but they get weaker every try. It's just about being consistent. Staying at the same pressure Level. They will crumble, if you believe that they will. I believe in you guys. I hope you believe in yourself and the thing's you can achieve, if you just believe.

Well this is at least a lot better than annoying the workers at the slaughterhouse that are just doing their miserable job because of these companies but mainly because people keep eating meat because they don't care.
And to be honest, I don't think that these companies will change a thing unless cultivated meat will be a more profitable option.

Activists are always talking about how to convince people to go plant based and stop eating animals.
I would think that you would all do as much as you can to tell and help people succeed on the plant based diet.
I tried a plant based diet for 2 years and my health failed (my goal was health), maybe if there were adequate resources around to help people make it work then there would be more vegans and much less "ex-vegan" videos advertising just how bad the plant based diet can be.
As an opposite example there many, many doctors promoting the carnivore diet and they tell people exactly how to start and how to succeed long term for free, no fees, supplements, books are required and if you are a special case you can get MD level doctor or nutritionist support and help for as little as $5 per month.
If the plant based doctors and even vegan activists were just a little bit more interested in the health of the people trying to follow the plant based diet and less interested in some other of their own goal, there may be many more people succeeding on the plant based diet and you would maybe get what you desire in the end.
All I get from plant based people is "you did it wrong", "oreos are not a health food", "veganism is not for health".
Many people expect a plant based diet to be healthy because of so many official groups, governments, doctors and activists pushing plants as healthy that we are very disillusioned when it does not work out that way.
A quick google search brings up countless organisations to do just that. Ironic that vegans on average have far better health than non vegans.

I don't think it's possible to disentangle ourselves from these companies entirely.
Where I live, in a city - there are actually few options.
The main green grocer just down the road from me closed last year.
There is one traditional bakery and that's it.
I have Tesco / Morrisons. I am surrounded by fast food restaurants.
Withdrawing support from companies that provide a wide range of food isn't an answer.
Just target products from the range that are closer to ones ethical principles.
It's good that they supply vegan products & there's nothing wrong with that. They just shouldn't supply products of animal abuse & murder, or at least being transparent about it...
If we shame large companies, then maybe they start to drop the bad products & supply more of the good.
