Thank you for being here, friends. It's not easy to be vulnerable and share so much of myself sometimes. We've been through a lot of change around here and some of it was awful, but we learned and we're making the most of everyday. I started this channel in a very different body and shared exclusively plus size fashion. While I am still very much curvy, shop many plus size brands (particularly for bottoms), and have no intention of completely cutting out plus size items from what I share, the reality is I can shop outside plus sizes now and to pretend like I don't would be silly. You will see a mixture of things here because that's my reality. I am not exclusively plus size nor midsize. I need to shop a variety of sizes and brands to dress my body these days, so that's what I'll be sharing here. I just want to be very transparent about that so you don't feel shocked or surprised if at some point I upload an Abercrombie haul, or share an Amazon dress that only goes up to XXL. I still shop and LOVE brands like Target that carry items from XS-4X, I still love Lane Bryant, and I still have a VERY big booty. ;)

Watching your children struggle with mental health is the hardest thing ever! We’ve been in that dark place too and thankfully now we are not. It’s not perfect but it is way better than it was. So glad she is feeling better. No child should feel that way. It’s sad. She deserves to be happy like everyone else❤️. You are good parents for recognizing this and doing something about it.

Jen, I have my Dr physical next week and I'm struggling with my weight and my eating even when not hungry. Could you please tell me the meds you are taking. You really grabbed my attention when you said you really don't have the desire to eat certain things or overeat. I'd really greatly appreciate if you could tell me then I can talk to my doctor about it and see if it's something that would work for me. I just turned 59 and I am over this weight. Jen you look terrific. And I am so glad to hear that your family has settled into the new home and things are becoming a little more normal. I am so glad to hear that your daughter is doing so much better. It's scary for kids today.

But I've been doing low carb and it seems to be working for me!! It's been almost two years!! But the sizing you where talking about at the end is so my sizing now!! I can do as small as XL on top but still plus size 18 or 20 in the bottom it's according to the brand!! So I'm looking forward to see what awesome finds you get to show us all!!😊😊
Thank you Jen! I follow you because you have always been so relatable. I’m 62, apple shape (more like a brick in my opinion, lol!). My daughters are 21 and 23. I can SO sympathize with what you are going through. The pandemic sent my youngest in a tailspin. You would do anything to have their world right for them. I’m happy to say she made the President’s List last semester at UF and is truly happy. That’s all a mom dreams for her kids. Life is so different for them. Your girls are so fortunate to have you. 🩷🩷

You are amazing parents. I know all too well the struggle to advocate for my child(ren) and making sacrifices for them. I lost a ton of weight on a GLP1 and I am 57 years old. This has made me have a new lease on life, I work out at the gym and I go hiking with my 23 year old. These are things I wasn’t doing when I was 100 lbs overweight. Good for you lady. I am now being cut off due to insurance no longer covering it, but am looking into my options.
Ugh, I hate how hard it can be to keep these meds accessible for those who benefit so much from them. I just had my doctor switch me to a compounded version for the time being since my pharmacy has no idea when they’ll get more Zepbound in. So inspiring to hear how you’re living life to the fullest at 57! Keep me posted on what you end up doing. Sending much love to you!

I’m happy you decided to share your story, I have been on Mounjaro for diabetes since December 2023 and have lost 73lbs😊I don’t share to others too much because of the “stigma” behind it and quite frankly it’s nobody’s business, but I know people are curious 🤨 It’s great that you are doing hauls in these sizes now because it feels like I’m following in the same direction!!❤Keep being you and do what makes you happy!! 🥰

We lost my son in law in January from a bad vehicle accident, he succumbed to his injuries two weeks later..😪💔
My 41 yo daughter is a widow now with a 17 yo son and a 14 yo daughter so I completely understand how quickly life can change!💔

I don’t know if it varies by state but I’m in Alabama and we just had to have a diagnosis from our doctor that did the neurological testing for our son with ADHD which automatically qualified him for an IEP. Keep fighting and advocating for her Mama! The school system needs to support her needs no matter what some dumb point system said. Sadly education is failing so many of our children. Wishing you well and praying things change and that positivity surrounds you!❤

So sorry to hear of your father in laws passing 🙏🏻 I’m glad you are back I really enjoy your content. I’m curious about your doctor letting you take the GLP-1 with having had thyroid nodules, it was my understanding that you shouldn’t take it if you’ve had nodules in your thyroid. I was interested in taking it but was told I couldn’t for that reason. 😢 Any insight would be appreciated 😊
I don’t have any family history of thyroid cancer. My understanding is that would be the primary indicator for not using GLP-1 meds as far as thyroid goes, but of course I can only speak for myself and my experience with my doctor. 😊

I'm glad to see a video from you. I'm so sorry for the passing of your father in law. It is always very hard to have to say goodbye and it's crazy how unexpectedly that can happen. I am glad you did what you needed to do to help your daughter feel happy & successful with school. Weight loss is so difficult for me. It has been the thorn in my side my whole life. You look amazing. I am trying to get help with weight loss because this has been a life long battle for me. I'm 49 and I'm so sick of it! You have worked hard!

It has been and continues to be such a humbling experience trying to navigate the best ways to help her. Some days are harder than others. I know you understand! 🩷
I do! We started this process in 2nd grade, and next year she will be in 10th grade. Every year we have to work with a new team of teachers for her. Middle school was especially challenging, but we have a wonderful team approach going at the high school now. Even with the best supports, we know there will still be challenges and missteps. It weighs on my heart and soul, but we don't stop for our babies! ❤️

It’s okay to ask - no I didn’t have diabetes but I’d imagine that if I hadn’t lost this weight, it would have become a very real possibility as it runs in my family. 😊

My little girl is one of the toughest people I know. Most adults couldn’t handle the things that were said and done to her. No amount of toughness could have fixed some of the things she was up against, which I chose not to detail in this video because there are limits to how much I’m willing to share for the sake of her privacy. Toughness is valuable, and it has its place, but to ignore a mental health crisis in my child would be both cruel and irresponsible. I have an obligation as her mother to recognize when toughness no longer works and change is necessary to keep her safe and alive.
