In just days you will notice this plant creeping across the top of your tank and it will cover the aquarium very quickly. It blocks the light from other plants so I remove handfuls of it every week to create holes for light to pass
@@ADHDAquatics when I got mine it looked like it died. Only 1 little piece was left then it came back with a vengeance. Whole top of 10 gallon is packed and some are being forced under water. Whole process happened over 4 months.
I have led in one of my tanks .the man in the pet shop where I go said led isn't a problem for fish and used it to bunch hornwart together. I asked if it was ok to go in the tanks and he said yes.
Lead is generally not a problem in hard water, as the carbonates form a protective layer on it. In soft water with a slightly acidic pH the lead dissolves out any finds it's way into the fish and plants. Not good for the fish. Avoid using lead in any aquarium to be on the safe side. Weight bunch plants down a stone or plant them deep in the substrate.
Mechanical Creature try watersprite it sucks nirite and nitrate crazy fast. And also yes salvinia plants do work to suck out nitrites fairly fast as well
For a second I thought I clicked on a Cubfan video. You both sound really similar, in the intro at least lol
I got two tanks filled with this on the surface. Looks so nice
🚨🚨🚨DONT DISPOSE OF YOUR EXPERIMENT ON OR NEAR ANY LAKES!!!🚨
How after adding 20 drops of solution is the water level at the line it’s supposed to start from in the test tube?
Nice video! May I ask what is the main difference between Salvinia Minima and Natans?
Started with 12 plants and now have 4 tanks covered with these plants and have thrown out hundreds of them because of nowhere to put them
How long does it take to grow? I just bought some

Interested in how you used a jigsaw to shake. I have jigsaws and a Sawzall (reciprocating saw) and would love to rig up a jig to shake these tubes!
How easy does it breed becouse i want to get a vouple and they breed so the top of my tank will look good i love the root look
It grows very well, easy breeding just place it in
They use the impurities in the water to grow
Great video. Very informative.
This video was awesome!
Duckweed helps with the ammonia first right?
Ammonia breaks down into nitrate, nitrate to nitrite

Lead shot was banned in 1991.
Yep, and the discarded shells are empty, the shot having been rapidly propelled out! The brass shell base is also quite toxic from the copper in it.
My salvinia has brown roots and the leaves seems to be a bit bigger than what we see in google....can anyone help out ?? should i cut the roots ?
no
Can you get to the point more quickly ? Videos like this become a bore otherwise.
Google is for the point lad
