- It's time for the next installment! Recently we went through Fallout 3 and all of it's DLC for achievements, well now it's time to hunt in Fallout New Vegas, some would say the best Fallout game there is, well do the achievements back that up? Let's find out!

New Vegas is awesome, but personally the main story is uninteresting and the dlc story is way better, with that being said base fallout 4 is my favorite fallout

Amazing work, Jazzy Jr. FNV was and still is a masterpiece. The fact it hasn't had a remaster is still one of gaming's mysteries. Personally, I've beat it through three times, one on Vanilla, and 2 with Ultimate Edition. Might do it again soon. Maybe a Melee build this time...
But of course, the full experience of FNV awaits... Shouldn't be all that hard as I recall; all the DLC achievements are just the casual playthrough.

As a speedrunner; It blows my mind that you chose to do the “grindiest” achievements on your hardcore run. Would have made more sense to make your fastest run the hardcore one.
FNV was a game id owned for almost a decade. 4 or 5 playthroughs until last year i finally sat down and 100%ed it. What a hell of a game

An easy way to get desert survivalist is getting as many chips as you can while playing the dead money dlc and the buying the food from the vending machine in the bunker. for the damage just stand on the hot iron rods in new vegas steel

You can actually break the bank on a 1-luck character. Just start a roulette game, place it all on zero and reload if you fail. You'll get it eventually.

I've probably consumed thousands of hours of New Vegas content, from playing it myself and to watching fine people like you play it. And in all my hours, I've literally only ever seen Oliver Swanick not get shot in the face only like 3 times. 1 was my first playthrough and I never made the same mistake of not shooting him ever again. Is there some kind of psychic link every New Vegas player has that tells them to kill him?

I loved this game when i decided to get all of the Fallout game achievements a few years ago. I still do and find myself playing the game every now and then too. Just been putting off Fallout 76 as i'm stuck on the last four. All the best of luck with that one :D
I think Boone's little quest to get revenge for his wife is what made me fall in love with this game. Another great video Jazzys Child! Can't wait for the DLCs hopefully!
NV was the satisfying game I’ve ever got all achievements for. Granted I only have a handful of games like I’ve gotten all achievements for including fallout 4 but this is definitely my favorite one I’ve done

This games hardcore mode was super trivial. Never really found myself out of resources of whatever, plus I could still fast travel pretty far distances.
I am pretty sure Yes Man will never hate the player, LOL I might be wrong, and maybe someone already pointed this out? But pretty sure he is a fail-safe of sorts. If you manage to piss off the other three factions before getting far enough in the main story. Then the Wild Card route gives you a means of still finishing the story, so you do not make the main quest line impossible to finish.

I just got New Vegas with all of the dlcs for like $8 on steam, and I’m loving it so far.
I really wished the legion wasn’t shafted so hard with the cut content hopefully whenever we do get a fallout nv remastered the legion will have been expanded upon more

Yep, Matthew said on Ellen's show how much he loved Fallout 3 so they hired him for Benny!
You aren't done yet, the DLC for New Vegas has more achievements and this includes the Gun Runners Arsenal challenges, and mostly completing all the DLC. So yeah you've still got around 20 achievements left.
Great Video but one qiestion. Doesnt the ciber dog rex count for the companion achievement? And arent there 3 achievements where u have to do misc Tasks like kill Benny with his gun?
Jazzy i have an interesting idea when you hit lets say 500K Subs you will get all the achievements of ,,Jump King"
the hardcore mode achievement is glitched btw, cause i got the achievement when i was just doing a regular old playthrough for some reason. also with the healing with food im pretty sure it still counts as healing when you are at full health so you coulda just ate like 100 steaks and then waited.
It may not be my favorite fallout, but new vegas is still awesome, i hope you'll do fallout 4 soon and 76 eventually

I had to use a glitch to get the food healing achievement because it would have been me just standing there eating Brahmin steak for 5 hours but in general the achievements were pretty fun
For the gun runner achievements I abused a perk that gave you a weaker version of turbo and a silenced pistol to kill a bunch of deathjaws
Overall it’s a prettt good run
Oh, I’m so here for the dlc sequel…or three because those aren’t small dlcs.

Absolutely one of the best games of the series, and definitely worth noting that it was developed by a lot of the old Fallout devs rather than Bethesda... hopefully an upside of Micrisoft now owning all parties involved we can see another similar game, or even just a remaster that actually runs properly on modern systems. Look forward to seeing the DLCs as they are an absolutely *WILD* ride... and yeah not surprised Dead Money is giving you issues, it's always been the buggiest of the DLC as it really pushed the limitations of the engine.
And now it's that time for me to once again massively recommend Nier Automata; interesting characters, great combat, amazing music, and some rather quirky achievements.
Maybe one day we can get NV2.

I'm not speed running it but I am doing a single dedicated play through for the hardcore achievement.

I still don't understand how so many ppl struggle with caravan, not as in they don't really want to play it like you did, which is fair enough, but outright claim it's too complicated or impossible to learn
Ringo literally gives you a holotape with all the rules
and since it's in a videogame it's not like you have to consider if a move is legal or not, if it's not permitted the game just won't allow you to make it
just read the rules with your human eyes and trial-and-error any "ok but can I do [this]?" questions you might have against ringo, this ain't repconn rocket science

New Vegas has both my favorite and most hated DLCs. I LOVE Old World Blues and the big MT and hate dead money and the Sierra Madre with at least 11 kilonazis of hate.
Im disappointed Jazzy didnt use Black Widow and give some loving to die for. Its basically the law when i play NV

If you ever get the chance try to complete far cry 3 or 4. They are, in my opinion, the best far cry games! Though Far cry 4 does have some achievements that require co-op.
Jazzy, you should get 'Until Dawn' good game and only takes like 3 play throughs, very fun, very good, hope you read this and give it a try
