- Today we start a series that I have been dying to start, Fallout. Fallout without question is one of my favourite series of all time, however I've never 100% them, until now. Today we go through the base 50 achievements for Fallout 3 to put it to the test, is it still as good as I remember? Enjoy!

As a huge fallout fan I saw the thumbnail and genuinely jumped out my chair in happiness
Love how Jazzy says "I can't go into detail or the video will be hours long" and we're sitting here going "MORE!!!!!" I watched a five hour video on Doctor Who, I'll watch a two hour video on Fallout 3!!!

I do like the Tenpenny Tower 'good' quest.
Convince people to put aside their prejudices and let a bunch of outsiders in by playing on their good intentions... then everyone dies to feral ghouls.
That's the good ending and perhaps an unintentional message hidden in there.
I cannot express how happy I am that your doing the fallout games, after starting to watch you and Snamwhiches, I fell into achievement hunting and my first game was Fallout 4, I’ve only 100% eight games now and I’m working on the 9th State of Decay 2 and it’s a slog
I just picked up a copy of fallout 4, super excited to play it
So excited for this one, I remember being so happy getting this game when I was younger on the 360.
Nice timing! I've been playing a lot of FNV myself. It's still so funny to me how FNV's intro is punchy as hell compared to 3's. FNV has a guy pull bullet lead from your brain before doing a brief test on you and letting you dip. 3 says that you have to start from your own actual, literal birth, and it only drags on from there. Absolutely insane.
I think it has to do with obsidian’s prior experience of making Fallout 2, which has one of the worst openings ever (that stupid temple) and learning from that.
“Hey you got shot in the head, go find the guy for revenge.” NV intro in a nutshell.
“We know your first time growing up was a slog, so we want you to do it again.” Fallout 3 intro.

Fallout 3 is actually the first Fallout Game I ever found out about and has been a joy to watch people go through in the past, so I'm very happy to see you giving them some recognition with the grind.
I'm not sure if the comments is the best place to put this, and I don't know if it'd be a game you'd vibe with or enjoy the grind of, but Library of Ruina is a game that's close to my heart and could be interesting to play. It's a story based deck battler kind of thing with mean difficulty curve.
Another game I'd like to see a grind of is Middle Earth Shadow of War. It's actually one of the only games (might actually be the only one) that I've actually got all the achievements on. Due to the Nemesis System I think it'd be really interesting to see the kind of interactions you'd have with enemies on your own grind. Though, writing this, starting with the first game, Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor, might make more sense.
Lor's achievement are so hard, like get a finger kill whit a rat's page, but it would be fun to see him attempt it

And once again calling for Nier Automata. Amazing sound track, great action, and an honestly emotional ride to reach true ending.
Wow the first achievement you get kind of foreshadows the fact that you weren’t born in the vault
_Whilst not my favourite in the Franchise; Fallout 3 is an amazing first experience. Repeats aren't as engaging imo but the DLC helps with that as I'll happily play rush the mainstory/grind to play Zeta or Point Lookout._

I find it funny that he firstly assaults the Officer who wasn't even yet after him with a baseball bat to the face and then he complaints that "The guards just straight up tried to kill me for absolutely no reason".

"and the guards really were hostile" the guard: green name meaning not hostile, only becoming hostile after being whooped upside the head with a baseball bat
yep, definitely hostile, i think thats the guard that's cool with you, or maybe its shortly after that one
also, the clean mine kill mid combat was so cool, i never really use mines in fallout, let alone mid combat like that
you should do vegas next. Its achievements are quite fun and easy (excluding 4-5 of them)

It was smart of Bethesda to not have a "Discover every location" Achievement given Vault 87 is almost impossible to get discovered on your map and survive without exploiting the ever loving hell out of radaway and the pipboy freezing time.

Gun was one of my favorite shooters as a young teen, there was so much to do in that game.
The quantums get you caps and she can make quantum mud pies for you. A unique aid item.
When you get to the Pitt, I am sorry. actually no. Point lookout has me sorry.

Can’t wait to see the DLCs. It would be great to do the elder scrolls series, dragon age, mass effect aswell.
This is a good game I loved playing it but damn when I played it I had no idea that ash piles just stayed there when you kill enemies with them, also any chance you can platinum ghost of Tsushima and dlc I've played it so I won't spoil but it's amazing and it almost made me cry every time I get to a certain part
Also to add it's kinda unfortunate cause due to me not posting for ages my control of it as shot and I can never well play well the aiming is just bad now to me wish it wasn't

I tried me best to play this on my own about a year ago but the age of it and the open world type of gameplay just wasn't for me -- Happy you've played it so I can see the overview!

This was the first video game that I ever got 100% of the achievements for.
I don't know if it got mentioned already but the silky smooth voice of the narrator is Ron Perlman and he does a fantastic job he also did this for I think all the other fallouts too or at least most of them.

This video just hurts, its the only one not possible to do on PC because the Steam games dont have achievements. I have Fallout NV, 4 and 76 completed but cannot get that 100% on Fallout 3. Damn you Todd Howard.

I'd be a lot more sympathetic towards the ghouls if they didn't immediately murder all the humans in the tower upon gaining entry. Like, you are literally just proving they were right to fear and hate you. From that point on, I sided with ten penny tower and murdered the lot of them every playthrough.
oh im working on fo3 achievements right now as well, too many side quests and different karma level up specifics imo, needs to be some more diversity like the ones in new vegas (finished new vegas and 4 back to back and started 3 right after)

I would play fallout 3 and new vegas more but they keep crashing at random, have yet to figure out why or how to fix it....

Fallout 3 was one of the very few games I was able to 100% back when I was young and primarily a console gamer. I didn't finish a lot of games back then, I either didn't like the concept of finishing a game 100% for some reason or was just bad and didn't want to try. Probably a mix of both.
But Fallout 3 was one of those special games of mine that I did 100% and I had such an awesome feeling of happiness and pride that I can't replicate today sadly.
I'm now primarily a PC gamer. Got 48 perfect games so far and how badly would I love to platinum Fallout 3 on PC except that I can't... It doesn't have Achievements... 😡😡 Fallout 3 is just one of the many types of games to not have Steam Achievements. A couple of others I can think of are Alice: Madness Returns, Far Cry games, Dead Space 2 and probably more. Such a pisstake because I would give everything just to be able to platinum Fallout 3 one more time.
