I'm not sure whether someone has already commented this, but this song actually represents a real issue in Japan. There's a gang that occupies Kabukicho in Shinjuku known as the Toyoko Kids, which usually consists of young teenagers who ran away from home due to either personal issues or manipulation. Members of this group would wear dark fashion styles, and would engage in the activities stated in the video. I won't say too much since the topic can be triggering for some, but I think this song is super cool. I love how it tells the story of why this girl decided to join the Under Kids, and how the group's negative coping mechanisms take a toll on her mental health.

私も家庭環境、学校、友人関係いっぱい悩んでトー横に行ったけど結局人間なんてそんなもんだなって歌舞伎来て最初は楽しかったのに地雷系っていう可愛いに包まれてて親に友達に否定されることなく楽しかったのに広場にいればいるほどみんなと関われば関わるほど人間の裏側がすごく見えてみんな生きるのに必死で大人が未成年の女の子を使ってお金稼ごうとしてほんとに来なきゃ良かったって思った。現実逃避なんて出来なかった辛いことから全部から逃げ出せたと思ったのに歌舞伎の大人はなんて情けないんだって実感した。

This song means the world to me. I discovered it when it came out and it felt like I was looking in a mirror of some sort - but something about how it was portrayed - the music, the lyrics, the vocal, the mv itself, something about it all was, rather than being a repulsive reflection of myself, a comfort and simultaneously cry of rebellion to the world, an expression of all the feelings that built up inside me that I couldn't bring anywhere else. In fact, it made me feel this so deeply and filled me with such emotions that listening to this song would be too much at times. This song is like no other, and I have never found another song the captures the same feelings or sound that this song does; I truly doubt I ever will.
Tuyu, I love your music. Your music, this song, saved me. I'm so so sorry about what happened. Know that you really did make a difference, and you really did tell those sorts of stories and express those sorts of feelings that no one else could manage to reach. I know you did for me. I'm sure you did for many others as well.
I hope those that remain of this band manage to find peace of mind after everything that's happened. It's the least you deserve for everything you've given to us. To those who remain of Tuyu (although you may not even consider yourselves such anymore), you truly have touched me in a way that no one else could and no one else ever will. I hope that you all do well and get to achieve true happiness, and encourage you to consider pursuing your passions, whether that be music or something else. Whatever you create, I'm sure it will be something that no one else can recreate.
I love this song. I really really do. I love all of Tuyu's music. This song saved me long ago. I hope it doesn't go away. I really really hope it doesn't. Not just for my sake, but for everyone else who feels the same way.
I don't keep up much with the actual band members themselves, mostly just their music; hence why such a comment is being posted so late. I apologize if anything I've said is off because of it, I promise I don't mean to be offensive. I somehow felt like I knew Tuyu - ever so slightly - through their music, despite not keeping up with the members themselves much.

I feel the exact same way that you do, especially on the music part. I’ve never in my whole life heard music that sounded like Tuyu’s, their music is truly unique, I love the fast, aggressive tone and the piano added in that makes such a rhythm so unique to me and it’s sad to see it go😭

前回の作品は社会からの刺さるような痛い視線が描かれていましたが、今回は当事者目線で描かれていて両者が理解し合うことは困難だと言っているように感じました。あのバスちゃんのように、自分の境遇が理解されないことに嘆いて悲しい結末を迎えなければいいですね。
アンダーキッズというのはアンダーアチーバー(環境などの外的要因により知的水準から予想される学業成績を大きく下回ること)からきているのでしょうか？
だとすると、親から愛されなかったり交友関係が上手くいかなかったという外的要因により見た目よりも随分心が子供なのかもしれない。
幼少期の親からの愛情は生涯のアイデンティティ形成に影響がでますから、自分は生きていい人間だ、愛されていい人間だと思えるように愛情を沢山注がなければいけないと改めて思わせてくれる曲ですね。
「あなたの為なのよ」とあれこれ口を出すのは愛ではなくただの過干渉。
私は20歳なのでまだ親の立場ではありませんが、産んでくれなんて頼んでないと我が子に言われるのは中々辛いものがあると思います。
この曲はこの子のような子供たちにはとても共感できるものだと思います。自暴自棄になって消えてしまいたいと思ってもあまり理解してもらえない事が多いので曲を通じて理解者がいるのは心強いでしょう。
今後ツユがどんな曲を出していくのか楽しみです。この子達が親に何を望んでいたのか、どう愛されたかったのか、そんな生きる希望の見える叫びの音楽も聴いてみたいなと思いました。

「アンダーアチーバー」
見慣れない単語ですけど、意味はぴったりですね！
「アンダー」は、他にも「堕ちる、堕落、社会の底（アングラ）」みたいな意味合いも兼ねてると思います。
個人的にはそのアンダーと「トー横キッズ」が、曲名の由来や曲のテーマだと思いました！
（トー横キッズ：様々な理由で、歌舞伎町の東宝ビル横でたむろや生活をする若者集団の俗称。その多くが地雷系ファッションをしているのが特徴。）
MVで歌舞伎町一番街アーチが出てきたので確実かと思います！
トー横キッズ問題は、社会が向き合うべき底の深い問題なので、よければぜひ一度調べてみて下さい。

I loved all the leitmotifs at the end. On the other hand, it also kind of implies that this character, who clearly already has a lot of issues, is also experiencing feelings similar to those explained in the songs referenced in the leitmotifs as well, which means her load is much heavier than is explained in this song, if I've interpreted that correctly. Otherwise, TUYU just added some leitmotifs to make the fans go wild, which, if that was the case, worked.
If you look in the background, even the decorations match the song the leitmotifs are referencing, like feathers for Being Low as Dirt
It really is that
Early in the video you see the parents saying something about the girl's grades which suggests that her parents put too much pression on her about grades and stuff. In the "compared child" leitmotif this is brought up again by showing the girl now and her past-self before running away from home. This all links with compared child because the song is basically about the pressure that some people suffer in getting good grades.

@@orenji233 The song basically goes about a person (The blonde girl) trying to rasonate with the two other girls that are blindly supporting an idol who was confirmed to be involved in some kind of drama, the weird thing is that at the emd the blond girl ends up on the same spot as the two other girls, also admiring and supporting the idol ignoring what he did. "Oshi" referes the someone you support, or someone you are a big fan of. The "P" might come from "producer" (Like, music producer), but I'm not sure about it.

I think this song actually pictures a deep social problem. Teenagers who get abused or deserted run away from their homes, meet at the streets of the city doing uncertain things for their living. They dont have a mature mindset nor the ability to work normally. They stroll around the street and try to be happy and joyful but their insides are full of anxiety and depression. The referrences of TUYU's other songs(which depicts the emotions of inferiority, vanity, and suicide) show the true side of the "Under kids". These guys really need a hand right now. They need to be helped.
I think it refers to that and also Twitter where there’s a culture of creating “uraaka” (secret accounts) and posting/selling pictures/videos while receiving money from guys. It’s common to wear one’s school uniform or cosplay in one. Some have a lot of followers. It’s probably harder for them to get into a relationship though because most people following them are following them out of lust or delusion and I’m sure they get disillusioned to the depravity of the opposite sex real quickly. Overall a really mentally unhealthy situation to be in my opinion, even if it’s lucrative. Everyone’s gotta pay bills and feel emotionally fulfilled somehow tho.
There’s also a problem in society of having too high ideals for physical appearance which also makes it hard to get into a healthy relationship. I think that contributes to the depraved behavior on Twitter.
