When I got my musk turtle, I left the musk turtle container on a table, and next thing you know. My guy climbed out and started peeing everywhere.
Have had this happen. I dont think you can own a reptile and it not get out, atleast all mine have gotten out 🤣
I love the “just make sure you’re keeping the turtle healthy, a vet won’t do much for it” advice. Most vets don’t know anything about exotics. They’ll just charge you out your ass and give you an antibiotic or something. Even if vets accept exotics, most of the time they don’t know what they’re doing unless they specialize in exotics. It’s a waste of money when you can google most of their health problems or use RUclips.
Yeah my vet is pretty great he only charges 60$ even when giving antibiotics

I literally love your videos ive been trying to to build me a 3000 gallon outdoor pond like urs because my turtles need something bigger for the summer and i finally think i have enough im probably gonna build my own filter just gotta figure out how lol ive watched videos but am still confused im hoping to breed my two red eared sliders diff morphs with my other two albino red eared sliders i just hope i didn’t get scammed again and got two females anywho if u have any ideas on how to build a filter that would be amazing love your videos!!!

I recently ordered a map turtle online and he came with his eyes closed and kinda crusty? And he did open them but they keep closing and getting icky can anyone help plz cause I’m struggling to find stuff about it and how to treat/fix it if it’s a extreme issue

Comment section im really depending on you guys right now. I have an almost 2 year old painted turtle and some fish. I posted my fish on reddit cause i had a weird suspicion they might have parasites. Some people said that they did, and now im scared. None of the fish that look like they have parasites have been eaten by my turtle but is there some other way the parasites could have gotten to my turtle?He has no sign of them but now im just ultra concerned. Also ik i need to dose some medication to help the fish but then i was told the wrong amount could kill my turtle even if he doesn’t have the parasite. And now i dont know what to do. Any advice
