it depends. try to apply with in working hours and ensure all of documents are correctly uploaded. it should not take more than 48 hours to get the visa. Usually the delays and rejections are because of incomplete applications.

go to booking.com and make account. Search a hotel with your dates of travel. select the hotel with option NO PREPAYMENT REQUIRED OR PAY AT THE PROPERTY WITH FREE CANCELLATION. Enter ur details and done.

How long does it take for the visa to get approved after submitting the application?
You can get it now on arrival.

Yes u need exit reentry but not the evisa. Your wife will need the evisa.
