Using Cut Ladyfish in the Florida Everglades for BIG SNOOK

Today me and my brothers used chunks of cut ladyfish deep in the Everglades to find some solid snook.

Do you think the knocker rig kinda buries the bait in the mud though? I usually free Lin the cut bait.

We use a 1 oz weight usually. If not, the current will have your bait all over the place. The 1 oz is light enough too that it allows the bait to move a bit I think. Just enough weight to keep it still works best we found.
