WAHOO!!! I’ve had a glitch in my NOTION setup since I installed it. I’ve asked for help from multiple sources. Nobody could figure it out. Today, I had the idea that *maybe* I could fix it on an actual computer. Previously, I’d been using my phone and iPad. Sure enough, within five minutes, I had the problem solved on my (ancient) MacBook Pro! HUZZAH! I’d say that I feel a bit silly for wrestling with the issue for so many months, with the consequence of not actually being able to use the app the entire time, but I don’t. I feel fortunate to have not given up my quest for an answer, for I *knew* a solution was available, I simply hadn’t landed upon it until now. Meanwhile, life became more complicated in some respects, so now I’m extra grateful to have used the time to continue leaning about more of NOTION’s possibilities, including your walk-through. I’ve already got your Life 2.0 and now I’m ready to begin… *FINALLY* Thanks for making such great content, Simon. Your presentation is one I can focus on and learn from, now that I’ve kicked that initial friction out of my way. YAY! 😁
I am so thankful that you are still continuing this series! Just wanted to say your previous build videos really helped me to manage my school life and got me through my national exams this year.. managing my homework etc. Looking forward to completing this build and also build 3 and 4 in the series!

hi, in the second part of this two part series on goal setting, you reference the goal database which supposedly was in the prior video, but it's not. can youbplease tell me which video you demonstrate setting up the goal database?

Regardless, the whole video and content within it is in the essence of the original quote anyway so it doesn’t really matter to be a quote police. Just thought it was funny.
Hey man i love your second brain! I would appreciate some guidance as i'm 19 years old and my life is currently really simple (i don't constantly have a load of things to do). Would you recommend your second brain or should i go with a simpler one? Or should i get yours and grow with both you and the second brain over the coming years? Just looking for a genuine opinion! I do the recordings on Cleanshot - that can show clicks and keystrokes… but all the movement and highlighting is done by my editor in after effects. :) cheers!

Not 100% related but I hope you can help. I am trying to create a database that can replace my weight tracker app. I want to create a formula to show what % I am to my goal weight. I can't seem to figure it out. Can you help?

Hey Nicholas, thanks for waiting on my reply - I've just returned from a work trip and yesterday's bank holiday Monday here in the UK hence why I'm just replying to your email from Friday. I've just replied with with a list of guide videos and ways in to the template and a couple of suggestions :) For those newer to my Notion content, or Notion - these bigger templates can be a little overwhelming to start with, but soon become super powerful - but if you are looking for something simpler and more accessible - I recommend we talk about my Simplified Notion template - a great option if you want less functionality but more simple interfaces :) Thanks - speak to you on email if need! I’m super excited to get started, however as a new Notion user, there’s a lot here and it’s quite overwhelming. I’ve watched the overview twice and you mention ‘this’ (yearly goals and planner) is the place to start and this video for that section. It’s great you’re teaching people how to build this template, but what about those of us that want to learn how to use it? While this may be a fantastic video, for me it’s confusing and has too much stuff I don’t need as a user. This should NOT be recommended for users. Would love a video on this section solely for users. I’m frustrated, very, very, frustrated!
