💚everything! Your set-up on the main floor makes perfect sense. The plant room has given me a light bulb moment as they say! Why didn't I think to group each genus together?😕I too have some round tables and love that they can be loaded up and not only look great but each plant can be easily accessed. Unlike shelving units! I find them a real headache as the plant gets larger. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Dave..NEW YEAR...everything. The hoodie is awesome.

Dayum, Dave, between the plants and the dog I don't know which I would borrow first - cause I'd have to lol. That little propagation system is fabulous. I use the expensive 'plastic cup' method...works a treat, especially on the young stuff. A little heads up from me, get yourself a couple twelve inch oscillating fans to give your greenery some air movement; the stalks and stems will be stimulated into producing growth hormone - in the seedlings in particular. Static air is no friend to any of us. You need only set the fans to the first of three speeds. Just enough to see the leaves moving. Doesn't have to be gale force. Then take cover and Watch them grow! Love the house, BTW. :)
What an amazing collection and all so beautiful!! I got an undulata red imported but I lost the leaves and I’m trying to propagate the stem in moss .. yours look amazing!! I hope to order from your Etsy shop when you add plants 💚🪴‼️
I actually cut my Undulata up right out of the package. I did run in to some trouble acclimating it, but Moss, LED light, and a warm room is what got them to re-root. I’ll start posting Plant listings next month.

Dave those hoyas have really started to take off from 4 months ago. That hoya macrophylla has really blossomed!!! Question... are the plants that are growing in straight water going to receive fertilizer? They already look so healthy....
So with growing in water, I'll give it nutrient water once every couple months, but change it back to fresh water after a few days only. Nutrient water can break down the roots quickly because it removes oxygen in the water.
The Thai Constellation has been in Pafcal for months and it finally put out a new leaf. You prob didn't notice the Pafcal because the top is mulched. Thanks for that suggestion.
@@AroidDistrict no I’m talking about the 6ft tall circle one with the shelves and hanging plants. That’s dope. I just found it one very similar on Amazon. It’s two half circles that can be pushed together to form a complete circle. Yeah, imma need that! Great video btw.
@@AroidDistrict Yeah I found some cheaper ones. The cheapest is $120 which is really good. It’s 60” tall too which is a very impressive size. I ain’t even gonna lie it’s definitely a show stopper. Good job picking that out!
I actually spray the potting media (with pump sprayer) soon as the top is dry. I don't soak the plant because, I notice that Anthurium like water a little at a time.
@@lorrainealmazan1445 I only water them thoroughly if it’s outside with a lot of air or in a terracotta pot. But the tricky part is that older leaves almost always get yellow or brown edges.
@@AroidDistrict nah after a while the plants will decline in water alone, make sure you use leca or pond and add a liquid fertilizer that will help with the growth and another tip that’s really works you can buy Miracle-Gro Orchid Plant Food Mist (Orchid Fertilizer)and spay your Hoyas and they will grow very lush and fast.
Hate to be that guy but I think your vittarifolium is a bakeri, might be the light, but bakeri has a pronounced marginal vein, it looks like a tooled belt. bakeri is self-pollenating, the berries are primary red, vittarifolium berries are more of a violet red.
That’s interesting! But I think it’s Vitarrifolium because the bloom color that I always chop off is always pinkish-white. Bakeri inflo is lined with deep red. I wouldn’t mind having either, but I’m almost sure mine came from Vittarifolium tissue culture.
@@AroidDistrict leave one on, see what happens, lol. i should probably figure out how to harvest the seed on my bakeri, its just like letting a few hundred dollars sit there and rot these days.
@@AroidDistrict I got my bakeri as a seedling maybe two years ago, its not a very old plant, it makes seeds nonstop. I got a scandens at the same time, no seeds yet.

Thank you! I've experienced that weird coloration on mine too with first few leaves. I cut those leaves off after better leaves started growing.

I’m not sure which ones you’re referring to but I hand made the trellis for Hoyas. The bendable poles with dried moss were purchased from Amazon.

@@AroidDistrict Yeah I found some cheaper ones. The cheapest is $120 which is really good. It’s 60” tall too which is a very impressive size. I ain’t even gonna lie it’s definitely a show stopper. Good job picking that out!

Any tips about watering in anthurium plant
I actually spray the potting media (with pump sprayer) soon as the top is dry. I don't soak the plant because, I notice that Anthurium like water a little at a time.
@@AroidDistrict tnx only the potting media... my anthurium is getting brown leaves on sides bcause i water them thoroughly
@@lorrainealmazan1445 I only water them thoroughly if it’s outside with a lot of air or in a terracotta pot. But the tricky part is that older leaves almost always get yellow or brown edges.

Its called “Pafcal” it’s a sponge material that last 10yrs and is great for airflow and continuous moisture at the same time.

You’re right, the Leca would hold them upright. I was trying to copy my mother cuz she grows in water only.
@@AroidDistrict nah after a while the plants will decline in water alone, make sure you use leca or pond and add a liquid fertilizer that will help with the growth and another tip that’s really works you can buy Miracle-Gro Orchid Plant Food Mist (Orchid Fertilizer)and spay your Hoyas and they will grow very lush and fast.
Hate to be that guy but I think your vittarifolium is a bakeri, might be the light, but bakeri has a pronounced marginal vein, it looks like a tooled belt. bakeri is self-pollenating, the berries are primary red, vittarifolium berries are more of a violet red.
That’s interesting! But I think it’s Vitarrifolium because the bloom color that I always chop off is always pinkish-white. Bakeri inflo is lined with deep red. I wouldn’t mind having either, but I’m almost sure mine came from Vittarifolium tissue culture.
@@AroidDistrict leave one on, see what happens, lol. i should probably figure out how to harvest the seed on my bakeri, its just like letting a few hundred dollars sit there and rot these days.
Yeah I’ll leave one on. I’ll also look back at my outdoor greenhouse video because I kept the inflo on back then, all the way to male phase.
@@AroidDistrict I got my bakeri as a seedling maybe two years ago, its not a very old plant, it makes seeds nonstop. I got a scandens at the same time, no seeds yet.
