Beautiful collection and video, thank you for sharing! Your pitcher plants are the first i've seen without being in a cabinet or by a humidifier, you've given me hope to try one 😄
Thank you so much! Our flat is naturally quite humid but we try and counteract that with dehumidifiers and they still seem fine 😂 so I definitely recommend giving them a try! The Nepenthes alata is a fast grower leaf wise but the Nepenthes gaya stays more compact and puts out more pitchers, I’d say both are good beginner ones, good luck with trying one! 🥰💚
🥰🌿 you have beautiful plants 🌿🥰
Thank you so much 🥰🌱
Greetings from Massachusetts! You have such a lovely home and a beautiful collection! Especially admire your peperomia and how healthy & happy they are! Obviously, you are a really great chopper & propper, as all your plants are so full! Really enjoyed your tour...Piper is adorable, too! Thanks for sharing! 💚👏🏽🪴👏🏽💚🐶
Hello! Thank you so much for watching 🌱🥰 Peperomia are an absolute fave of mine 😄 haha I’m always trying to make more room for more propagations 😂 piper says thank you! 🐶❤️💚
I enjoyed your first plant video 💚
Thank you, very inspirational 💚
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 💚💚
Lovely to find a British plant you tuber with a great collection of plants. I watch lots of great videos from USA but weather/light conditions are so different it’s hard to know if the plants would grow here ? 👍🏼🌿🌵
Thank you! 🥰 I also watch a lot of great American plant RUclipsrs but the conditions are different and what’s available is quite different so I love finding UK RUclipsrs as well ☺️
Beautiful collection! ❤ from southern USA
Thank you so much for watching! 🥰💚
Thanks for your video. Your plants are lovely! I think the number of plants you have is optimal… enough to keep you busy and happy without overwhelming you. I have a guideline number of 100 which I haven’t reached but after which some tough choices will have to be made. It’s hard though. So many fascinating plants out there…
Thank you so much for watching! 💚
It’s definitely a comfortable number for me right now! But it is hard when there’s so many wonderful varieties out there! I do every now and then have a plant purge if I feel overwhelmed or want a bit of a change 🥰💚🌱
Well done , lovely plants and your dog is really cute 😍
Thank you so much! 💚 she really is and she knows it! 😂🥰
If you’re wanting to get big on RUclips, I myself love watching people with their plants that have tons of personality, humour, self awareness etc, the people, not the plants lol I wish you the best of luck! Be yourself!
I’d love to see some care tips! That pitcher plant is gorgeous! You’ve got a lot I’ve never seen before!! Care tips please!! And for those of us still learning common names along with the scientific ones are helpful indeed!!
Thank you very much for watching and for the feedback! ☺️ I’m definitely still getting used to talking to my camera, thank you for the encouragement ☺️❤️
I’m definitely planning some care tips videos, and I hadn’t thought of making sure I included both common and scientific names so I will try to do that from now on! 😄🌱💚
@@Amysgreenishthumb looking forward to seeing you’re next vids!
lovely collection! thanks for sharing :) I'm inspired to up my pot game now 🙈 coverpots even in the prop boxes?! you've put my sad nursery pot setup to shame haha
Thank you! 💚 haha I have so many pots 🙈 almost all of my cover pots, minus the terracotta ones, are second hand, charity shops and car boot sales have the best pots!
Thank you for the tour 🙏
The correct name for the beautiful lipstick plant with the mottled leaves is Aeschynanthus longicaulis. And your jungle cactus has been reclassified as Disocactus anguliger.
Ah thank you very much! I don’t know what the difference is between the two but longicaulis makes sense as the leaves are fairly narrow 😊
Haha I read that as disco cactus for a second 😂 thank you for watching 🥰💚🌿
@@Amysgreenishthumb Disco cactus 🕺😄
Your plants are lush and beautiful. They are really thriving outside.
Thank you so much! 💚

I’m so proud of how big it’s gotten ☺️ Thank you so much for your comment it means a lot! ❤️
Hi Amy, what a great first video. I love your collection, looking forward to more vlogs 😀💚
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🥰💚
I love all of your plants. Your plant taste is very similar to mine… finally someone that is not all philodendron and anthurium 😊. I look forward to more of your videos… all the best being sent from Massachusetts, USA 🎉
Thank you so much for your comment and for watching 🥰 i love to explore different plant varieties 💚
You have such an amazing collection! What a lovely video :)

Thank you so much I’m glad you enjoyed! 💚 she is so fabulous isn’t she 😍😂
Stopped the video half way and I'll continue later today. Really enjoying it ❤ I think the unknown fern may be a Tongue Fern (Pryrrosia lingua)....but then again, I'm not sure 😅
Thank you so much 🥰 and yes I think you’re right!!! Thank you! I’ve been trying to ID it since I got it, yay! 😄💚
@@Amysgreenishthumb oh that's fabulous!!! Greetings from Australia 🐨🌿🩷
Beautiful home .luv the plants. 🏠
Thank you for watching 🥰
@@Amysgreenishthumb your ,very welcome 🤗.
Love your houseplants some I haven’t seen before, but I also liked what your dad did with the window shelves,I’m going to do the same 😊how did he put it together.❤
Thank you so much Sandra! I’ll do my best to explain in a comment but it could be a good idea to explain further in a future video ☺️ we used a plain untreated shelf which my dad cut to size for the wall but any spare wood would do, and you need these to put it all together:
www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Twin-Slot-Upright-White-1219mm/p/210182
www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Twin-Slot-Shelving-Bracket-White---170mm/p/530501
Attach the twin slots into the wall making sure they’re the same height, and attach the brackets into the bottom of the shelves the same width apart as the twin slots, and then you can position them however suits, I hope that makes sense! They’re great because you can move the shelves up and down whenever you like if you want a change, I’d love to see if you do end up trying these for yourself! 🥰💚
Wonderful video! Do the nepenthes help with pests?
Thank you so much! 💚 so I’m not 100% sure but my guess would be probably not, as they would only be able to possibly catch flying pests and they would still be susceptible to getting pests themselves, but they are good for things like fungus gnats ☺️ I hope that makes sense and thank you for watching! 💚🌱
If you're planning to put your plants on a moss pole, there is one advice I can give: don't buy b&q moss... it's poor quality and it dries out very quickly... I buy very nice moss in one of garden centres :) p.s. very nice first video :)
Thank you so much for watching and for the tip! I think I’ll try the soil ninja moss and diy a pole ☺️💚
Does anyone know the name of the tallest and thickest cactus in mixed pot cacti? There are three of them (I think they are the same), greenish/silverish colour. Thx 😊
I’m sorry I have no idea what they’re called!
