    Thanks for sharing your collection! You should do a video on your nepenthes care and its propagations! I'm curious since you have so many!

      Thank you so much for watching! 💚 I can definitely work on a care video 😊 I haven’t successfully propagated nepenthes yet, I think I need to get some sphagnum moss for that so maybe a project for next spring 😆🌱

    Hi Amy what a great collection ! I loved the little shelves idea running up the window. Is the one you weren't sure about an Epipremnum or a Rhipsalis? So many similar ones ! Do you use a Plant ID app? Love your videos and sweet little Piper 🌿

      Thank you so much! My dad put them up and they’ve been great!
      I’m thinking it’s an epiphyllum but yes could be a rhipsalis! I’m thinking once it’s a bit more mature it’ll be easier to ID 🤞🏻 I haven’t tried those apps before, have you? Are they any good?
      Thank you so much for watching 🥰🌱💚

    Hi, Amy - loved seeing your whole collection! So many beauties! Any tips for goldfish plants? I have had several over the last few years, but I murdered them all. Can't seem to get the watering right.🤦🏽‍♀️ Hope your thrip issues get resolved-what a pain! Nasty, resilient little buggers! Thanks for sharing - great way to start my day 👏🏽💚🪴💚👏🏽

      Thank you so much! 💚
      I recently killed another variegated one I had 😭 but I’d say the all green nematanthus radicans has been the easiest for me, the watering is hard to work out as the way mine grows roots it’s impossible to poke down in the soil to see if it’s dried out. But I feel lots of the lower leaves and if they feel less firm than usual I check to see if the pot feels light and if it does then I water, they don’t like to be overwatered but I also don’t think they like to fully dry out 😂
      Thank you! They really are and I’ll go so long not seeing any and then there will just be one 😂 glad you enjoyed the video thank you for watching 🥰🌱💚

      Thanks, Amy - I think I may have been going too dry…probably because the leaves seem quite “succulent” to me - will try the “taco test” on lower leaves, too. Hadn’t occurred to me for some reason to use it on those. Especially love all your tiny plants in cute vessels and cups- that’s my style, too. Satisfies my love of vintage planters & teacups. No offense to anybody else who might read this, but that all uniform, white pot sterile look is not for me😮 Thanks again!

    Your plants are so healthy. Seeing all your lipstick plant’s I definitely want one now.
    Amy do you have any watering tips for the watermelon peperomia. 😊
    Mine keep rotting at the stem all the time,they are so easy to propagate but I have trouble keeping them from rotting! Thank you. 💚🪴 Natalie

      Thank you so much! I love lipstick plants, and they bloom so often is really rewarding 🥰
      So I’ve only had mine since July but I’ve been leaving it until the leaves go pretty thin and flexible before I water, I always air on slightly under watering just in case! But I also always repot larger Peperomia cause they seem to come with those mesh plugs and if I leave them they rot 😭
      Thank you so much for watching and good luck with your Peperomia props! 🌱💚

    I love seeing all your Peperomia and props. I’m constantly doing the same. Our plant taste seems so similar, I just need some Nepenthes! They’ve been on my wish list a while!

    • @Amysgreenishthumb
      @Amysgreenishthumb  8 месяцев назад

      They’re so fun to propagate! And I’m constantly accidentally snapping bits off so there’s always props to prop 😂 definitely recommend nepenthes! Much easier than I expected them to be 😊 thank you so much for watching 💚🌱

    I hope the trips don't get on your peperomie rotundifolia. I had mine probably less than a year, for the first half it didn't want to acclimatise at all, and when it did and started to grow like crazy, the trips got it and didn't eat it, but dewoured all its new and lower leaves. I didn't even have anything to save.... In general, this plague has affected all my plants, I hope you will not have a problem with them at all soon. I am just a beginner plant collector and apart from fungus gnats I haven't had to deal with anything else, and 90% of my plants have scars from their presence this year :(

    • @Amysgreenishthumb
      @Amysgreenishthumb  8 месяцев назад

      I found a couple on it a few weeks ago after noticing some scarring, but none since then but the new growth is looking a little funky still, so I’m keeping an eye on it, such a pain!!
      The same thing happened to me right and the start of collecting plants, it was such a bad outbreak, so luckily this one’s been a bit easier and I hope yours gets more manageable 💚💚 thank you so much for watching 🥰🌱

      @@Amysgreenishthumb Yes, fortunately I'm only finding individual trips now, but I spent every evening towards the end of the summer looking at and cleaning the leaves. A lot was done by neem oil and beneficial mites (I recommend Koppert sachets!), without these two things it would be much worse :)
