    I was told my huge spike in anxiety and depression was normal. The suicide attempts, all “normal” because women are more sensitive. My extensive pain, all NORMAL. I just found PPMD. I’m going to continue to research. Thank you for not making me feel so alone

    I have...
    EVERY. SINGLE, SYMPTOM. For two weeks before my period. Everything you listed. I went to my doctor about it and she just told me to tell the people in my life to leave me alone for those weeks. I'M NOT KIDDING. And no, I cn't go on birth control.

      @@addicted367, thing is, I honestly don't know what the woman could do for me. I had one of my ovaries out because it got into torsion (aaahhh...SECOND worst pain of my life: I couldn't even move freely, good Gods), and so she took that ovary out, but even with just ONE ovary, it's really bad still. And she told me that primrose oil, which I HAD been using, but which, for some reason, stopped working for me, is a placebo anyway. I rip on her for her tactlessness, absolutely, but in the concrete, barring removing my other ovary--a task of some physical difficulty for me (that recovery was NOT fun), what could she do, do you think?

      I'm only just finding out about pmdd and I'm not sure I'm quite at pmdd but I'd say I'm more on the extreme end of pms as it affectes me more than a week before my period. Anyway, I reckon I had pmdd when I was on birth control for sure. They say it regulates yoir hormones but for me it regulated them to be miserable throughout my entire year not just 2 weeks of a month. I've been better since off it

    The majority of women I know with pmdd had even worse symptoms when put on birth control. I genuinely become really upset when this is recommend because it can cause pmdd symptom to increase into suicidal ideation. Plllllease put more of a warning on them as an option it is very very rare that they help. I Genuinely don’t even believe it should be mentioned as an option.

      Agreed. I had Nexplanon and I had to get that thing out because the anxiety it caused me led to OCD thoughts that caused so much anxiety I got heart palpitations. It put a severe strain on my relationship and I am STILL slowly recovering after the implant has been out for a month.

    Oh, and haha, I only have half an ovary. Both of them went into torsion inside of me, an done was removed just fine, but the other one, a lot of the tissue was grown into the wall around the ovary, and they couldn't cut it without risking A LOT of internal bleeding. Half an ovary and I'm STILL a mess.

    trying to find resources for individuals who don't identify as women but suffer from PMDD is so difficult... and this wasn't helpful for that search lmao
    just to clarify, i'm not saying this isn't helpful for those who are women and suffering from this

    • @nowwhat1434
      @nowwhat1434 2 года назад +4

      What does identification have to do with it? Either you have female parts or you don’t.

    • @lindaandres5810

      Okay? So you can still relate to the symptoms. There is no unique form of PMDD or PMS for other genders lmao
