The only thing that you've left to react or know is our two action packed epics Ramayana and Mahabharata 🤣. You've become so Indian.
Pls react to rap machi song by rap machines
Hi .... This is Sonalika whose video you featured. We are indeed mother and daughter. Thank you for loving and appreciating the performance so much.
Good wishes from us.🙏
Bahut sundar performance Madam. Your daughter is very cute. Stay blessed
After watching your graceful dance, I am so very motivated to learn this art. Is this Varnam or Thillana
That was AWESOME..I know nothing about the dance...bt that was so beautiful !!!
Do you know Odissi was actually forgotten art? Unlike Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi or Kathhak. It was rediscovered my Pandit Kelucharan Mohapatra he and his first disciple Sanjukta Panigrahi are the reason why people know Odissi. Btw you should react to Manipuri dance as well. Very beautiful in my opinion ♥️
So is Mohiniattam. Someone has to re-discover it.
Jo C So true!!! I once learnt a bit for a dance competition in my school !!! It’s beautiful!!!!❤️
@Ram Krishna Dash True sir !!!
No dear..it was always there....pt. ni just made it famous...it was a part of the cult...odia people are very less active in these...they are happy in there own premises... that's why may be odisha is least discovered...
Thanks for info
The most ancient classical dance of India...oddishi...🙏 From the land of lord Jagannath.
🙏
That munchkin is a pocket sized miracle. She has such a large presence that she drew my eyes 85% of the time. I had to remind myself to watch mom too and her dancing was equally (at least to my untrained eye) good but the kid was drawing me in more.
The only thing that you've left to react or know is our two action packed epics Ramayana and Mahabharata 🤣. You've become so Indian.
They should eventually
have asked you stupid people to react for carnatic Isha song @ricksegall @korbinmiles for billion times please react you love it link ruclips.net/video/V3CrHR4ui5I/видео.html
@@maneeshd3 oh no no I was kidding. It's so difficult, especially Mahabharat. I mean even BR Chopra which is considered most close to the real story is not +
100 percent correct. There's no proper depictions of these epics anywhere. So better they stay out of it😅
@Richa Verma honestly even we Indians cannot grasp. How many people actually know the Valmiki Ramayana and the Ved Vyas Mahabharat? Most know from serials which twist the stories or take from later adaptations. Even the old ones like Ramanand Sagar's one was based on Tulsidas and not Valmiki. But people belive those are the real versions. I was just joking. It would need a life time for them to reach that level.
@@ahelibiswas3164 if they really want to know India, they should know the epics, and in my opinion Ramanand Sagar's adaptation is good enough although I am sure there will be many things they won't like especially Rick who is so critical and weird sometimes 😂😂
Odissi... The most graceful difficult and ancient dance form
You are from Odisha !!!hiiiii

Shrinika (daughter) was 9 yr when she was dancing... She started learning odishi when she was only 3 year old...
Lovely! Wish every family in India teach their kids Classical music and Dance. We are just focussed on Percentages and Tuitions !! I respect the southern states where it is considered almost as a worship and not just an art form. Salsa, zumba , Pumba 😒😒😑😑 All that can wait. Lets appreciate our Culture first!!
Performing classical dances and music is not going to bring "respect" in society only a 9 to 5 job can do that so why would anyone devote time to learning these art forms when they can just cram text books for 99% marks🤦🤦🤦🤦
Odisha is not a southern state BTW
@@platinumaravsquad2310 I know that. I was talking about the Southern states where Classical music is considered Godly. Do you think only YOU have seen the map of India?
I know where Odisha is. Infact I can speak Oriya..!!!!
@@simrankalsi1981 Arrey why are you angry, leave it
swati saini I agree n disagree too...🙄
India has a very rich culture with different dance formats of different places. Odissi is one of the greatest dance formats with its iconic costume and background music.
They did so gracefully that u wudn't even imagine how difficult it is to even imitate the steps♥️
I love odisi dance in all classical dance forms... I mean, can't take my eyes off on the dancers... What a gracefully performance nd graceful classical dance it is...
Pure beauty. Love the mother and daughter, such a beautiful, synchronised, symmetric performance.
It is very hard to master like any other indian classical dance but the little girl SHREENIKA does it with such beauty and grace exactly like her mother that too at such young age. It is truly AMAZING. If you want to see how amazing this little child is in showing different expressions like love, care, anger and many more in a single dance live, watch her solo dance 'performance at IIDF, Bhubaneswar, 2015' where the song tells an interesting story from Lord Krishna's childhood.
My eyes didn't leave the little one! Bravo!
Loved it as I am from Odisha India and currently live in Netherlands.
Yeah they are Mother and Daughter 💜
Love to see that Rick loves Odissi dance. Love from an Odia guy from Odisha !!!
Odissi is the mother dance form of Odisha.... Which Is difficult from all other classical forms.... It looks like all the devadasis are dancing
@Akshay Patra I mean to say it's mother dance form.... Of Odisha.... I left that 'form' part.... Now No issue... Ri8
Odissi dance is one of the ancient dance forms. You know it is considered to be one of the highest form of meditation ☺️
You will love and understand our classical dance poses if you see our temple sculptures....there you will find beautifully sculpted figures curved out of stone 🙂🙂
I'm from Odisha. Kids here learn Odissi at the age of 3-4. It's quite common here. You, very rightly pointed out at the hand movements. The first thing that kids are taught is those hand movements. That downward sitting posture that you talked about, takes years to master. Some people try and perfect that posture their entire life. It's too hard.
Also, loved your reaction! ❤️
I started learning Bharathanatyam when I was 4 years old & like Rick pointed out, any classical dance form is about discipline & practice, without any break whatsoever. Its difficult but oh so rewarding! To be able to express oneself and the beauty of a song or poem through your body is an exquisite feeling. The mother-daughter duo were such a pleasure to watch! ❤️💕👍👌👌
Many many thanks for Ur reaction love from Odisha, India
I'm from Odisha sir😍 love you 😘 from ODISHA ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This piece that they're doing is called "Basant Pallavi" which is based in raag basant
Sending love from Odisha 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Loving your channel more, day by day.❤
Love from Odisha .. ❤
There are a whole lot different classical as well as folk dance styles that you haven't reacted to. So please try and react to other dance forms also like kathak, mohiniattam, manipuri.
They have seen Kathak but are yet to be introduced to Manipuri, Mohiniyattam and Sattriya.
@@EagleOverTheSea yeah I've just stated the dance forms they can react to. Although, they haven't given enough to kathak as given to oddisi, bharatnatyam and kuchipudi.
@@nawaabakshay1521 Kuchipudi they haven't really reacted to more than once, I think. Kathak has been seen a couple of times and if you consider Bollywood songs the count will go up some more.
The dance was really graceful and beautiful to watch, I was surprised by the little girl’s performance.
Beautiful dance form. Thanks for reacting🙏
I started learning Kathak when I was 6. It helps when you start at an early age!
Thanks all so much for viewing this..

Rick and Korbin might remember this beautiful dance form called Odissi from India,.which was performed by the 'King of POP' Late.Micheal Jackson ( a small portion,. dancing on a Highway median ) along with a trained odissi dancer, in the smash hit video song ' Black or White ' from MJ's album ' Dangerous '

Most graceful dance form in the whole world
Yes they are mother and daughters. And it is one of the most difficult dance form in India. Those leg and torso movements🙏. Noone can imagine how difficult those are by seeing how gracefully they have done.
I m a odissi dancer.. Thanks for this...
Proud to be an odiya sir.. must visit odisha.. ( hidden treasure of India )
Children's heads are usually bigger in proportion and their arms are shorter so it was soooo freaking cute seeing this little puppy do some of those dance moves!!!!❤❤❤❤❤😭😭😭😭 My Heart!!!!!❤❤❤😭😭😭
Thank God after so many ages you've reacted to dance video. You need to do more of this. 😒 Just see kathak, kathakali, mohiniattam, and others as well.
Best dance...grace with beauty
Lot's of Love from Odisha India 💜🙏🕉️
I like the way how Rick does.. sooooo juiiicy
Odisi originated and inspired by statues carved in temples and as statues have restrictions of movements so odisi dance has restricted movements. You can't throw your arm and legs like in other dance forms like kathak and bharatnatyam. You have to dance like a statue incraved in stone.
It's actually the other way around... The dance inspired the temple carvinga
*carvings
Wow that was wonderful, even though I understood nothing it felt so graceful and refined.
Proud Odia😊❤️
Hey...I Love to watch you'r reactions and video's ....i think any kind of dance is another way to express yourself, love, emotions.....
I Love dance....and classical Dance is soul full, and when you perform you feel alive....😁
You can see a small part of Odissi in Michael Jackson's Black or White. MJ dances with an Odissi dancer on the highway side. The song part is "they print my messege on the....."
Why don't you visit odisha...It is a beautiful place...Once it used to be known as the great kalinga in 100AD..And the kalinga was ruling almost the whole india ...even some parts of pakistan and afghanistan during the reign of king kharavela of mahameghabahan dynasty....But the historians and scholars during the british rule have ignored this fact and that is why king kharavela is not as popular as king ashoka....Odisha has always been ignored...Till now also.
Watch it *2 speed. Seems great
Odissi dance form is an ancients dance form still into existence in this modern era
I am from odisha... Luv for both of u from odisha.... ❤❤❤❤
India has got 6 main classical dance forms from different regions of the country:-
1)Bharat Natyam
2)Manipuri Dance
3)Kathak

5)Odissi
6)Kuchipudi
After so long, you've reacted to something worthwhile. Please keep this up guys😁😁👌👌

Odishee is a classic Indian dance form more kind of showing gesture, expression and body movements "Bhaba Bhangi" rather than dancing to show case different moods of god's & goddess . In ancient times it was performed in temple by specifically by women .
Indian classical dance not only about dance stets it's also part of yoga every smoth different steps give u health benefits also strong ur memory power many not able to explain here

Me proud too for being an Odia and Indian
Infact you may have already seen Odissi dance form in one of Michael Jackson, iconic song, Black or White. He does a few steps with the famous Odissi dancer Yamuna Sangarasivam. The scene where Michael Jackson and the dancer appear on the freeway was filmed at 11779 Sheldon Street in Sun Valley, Los Angeles.
Wonderful this called Goddess dance.. this shows dance of ancient n oldest culture...
