In Northern Queensland, there are seasonal floods, during which the salt water crocodiles move around a bit, and, when the water recedes, find themselves caught in a pool or a pond they can't swim out of. The circumstances were somewhat different, but the story sounded exactly the same. He almost shit himself, because there was a big fucking crocodile in his pool. How else do you describe that?

It shouldn't really be so funny - no surprising twists, no subtlety, 'not very original' etc - and it's still (as it were) f---ing hilarious. I think it's partly because both characters are genuinely likeable...

Yes, you can get "pissy" if you want. The point though is whether or not the comedian is ridiculing the subject matter. This sketch does not ridicule Australians, and me wearing a kilt would ridicule no one more than myself as I have the legs of an emaciated flamingo. There have been many sketches and shows lately that have featured blacked up white guys, and they have not been complained about because they have not ridiculed black people. In the past however blacking up was intended to ridicule
