😂 42:20 manga lore accurate. The trainer is part of the battle if you go down your pokemon don’t get orders. It’s like chess if I knock out the player I win by default

While it's probably nothing like FE, there is an official Pokemon turn based strategy game called Pokemon Conquest. It was released on the DS and from what I can tell hasn't gotten rereleased on any other system.

It's decent. Kinda lacks complexity and the game feels a bit light on content, but it's worth giving a go in MelonDS. Also, haven't played it yet, but I'm pretty sure there's a romhack for it called Pokemon Conquest Ultimate that adds more Pokemon or something, including some post gen 5 mons.
@@FriendlyHermit there are actually a decent amount of romhacks but i suggest playing at least once the main game. You could say the first campaign is like a big tutorial, there there is the post game with a lot of stories for the other characters (some are similiar to other) and then you unlock the true end story. Hack roms there are some difficulty roms, some that change all pokemon with other with same type/evolution chain (like pidgey for starly to give an idea) and one that has only final forms so everyone is more owerful and you have a lot more coice but it's harder ofc if you don't know how to play) Hoestly, it's my favourite non main pokèmon game and one i'd like to 100% on a physical cartridge (which i can'f find at a decent price since i'm not from america)

In fact, it might be my favourite Fire Emblem game of all. I'll look into some more romhacks and see what I can find. But for now, I'm having a blast with Pokémblem. It might be my favourite "not" Pokémon game, ha ha 😅
@@FriendlyHermit When you play a game, its normal to accidentally make some errors like losing to the first wild pokemon you encounter. And this game is actually a bit hard lol. I reckon I would do no better than you myself. But it would still be very fun.

But I can confirm that after you've got around level 5, there's a huge burst in power with your first learned attack. Exeggcute was doing a single damage in the video, but after learning Confusion (I think?), his damage output was 10-20. He was one shotting things.

@@FriendlyHermit koei creates the dynasty warriors games lol(well I guess omega force mainly creates them now. But koei is still their publisher). I’ve seen nobunagas ambition as well. Regardless, both are based on the 3 kingdoms. I mainly said dynasty warriors because it’s more popular and the character illustrations looked more similar to their likeness in the dynasty warriors games

Not entirely sure what "CIAed" means, but it's a Romhack for the GBA game "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones". So, if you own a hard copy, you can snag the rom or dump the cart onto your PC. As long as your 3DS emulator plays GBA games, you should be good! Check the description for install instructions and links to everything you need.
