I’m just starting out in leather crafting and edge finishing is one of the things I’ve struggled with the most. This is probably the best video I’ve watched about that process. Thanks so much for putting your knowledge and experience out there for us beginners!

You are Monster in leathercraft and give us very good tips. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. You inspired me to start my leather goods business. Wish you the best. Thanks.
This is one of the very best video's I've seen on edging leather wallets, etc. I've purchased a few patterns from this shop as well and love them! Great video! Thanks again for sharing!
Wow such an amazing result for edge finishing. I might start using it because I'm trying to find something that looks great. And amazing how it looks so good without edge paint. Good job
This was helpfully informative! At the moment this is my favorite part of crafting with leather, so the possibility of adding additional moments of sanding and slicking to the process has me excited.. Thank you and God bless!.
This fantastic coaching video is exactly what I want to look for on RUclips! And it just popped up on my recommendation list! Can you believe that!! Nice work, and thank you for your sharing. It’s really helping me beginner. Thanks a lot~
This video was what I was expecting long ago. really well explained and simple. Thanks for sharing this knowledge, I will try it and let you know. Keep doing this great! greetings from Argentina.
I know right!!! I immediately did that as soon as I saw it lol. Iam a professional artist and Bookbinder and I literally have a massive box full of new, needle tip applicator squeeze bottles. I bought a bulk box of 250 and I put EVERYTHING in those bottles and never thought to put my Tokonole in it hahaha
My good times were when I still go to movie theaters more often take me back listen to the rock music band like the A Fire Inside/Delta Parole/A Fire Inside/Pearl Jam gives me the epic movie feelings.
Thanks for sharing Thomas. The time and care that goes into your edges is something to strive for. By the way. What is it with hairless cats and leather crafters? Keep the great videos coming.
I’m using fiebings white glue sparingly ont the edges but when I sand and slick the glue line is sands down quicker than the leather and the edge isn’t effect planer. Anyone have advice?
Thank you for doing this video. I always learn something new. Could you show us how to cut the leather so that the fibres are lying in the same direction for sanding. Thanks Also for the tip to rub the tokonole slowly
Very nice 👍 I m from Pakistan and tokonole is not available here Please tell me the alternative of tokonole I m using CMC powder as gum tragacanth but No glassy edge finishing and edges are very bad look Please tell me what should to do I do I want to start leather wallet business and i have no alternative of tokonole And what is veg tan leather I m using Cow leather
Im from Lithuania and i believe you do not find where to buy TOKONOLE here as well, but in these times you can get almost everything online :) As I do :)
Hello, very nice and informative video ! I do have a question about sanding. You said, "sand in the same direction and see how it reacts." do you advice to sand in the direction where the leather is rough ? or it is best to sand in the direction where the leather is "slippery" ? Thank you very much :-)

I meant, just check which direction it goes smooth and keep sanding this direction.
Подскажите,как наносите COLUMBUS на холст. Купил его,а он как пластмасса,ничего им натереть невозможно.
Быстрым трениям, тогда остаётся немного его на холсте
Great video! What model dremel are you using?
I have model: Dremel 3000
У меня вопрос какой клей ты используешь? И если можно ссылку на него.

Sveikas, ką manai apie "edge painting"?
Bei jo pranašumą/silpnumą prieš burnishing

We use kangaroo leather (Aussie), so will give this a try.
